I don't know what sickens me more: The corrupt cop or his carpeted bathroom.
funny quagsire scream man watches columbo?!?! BASED
The wallpaper is the biggest crime, it's gaudy and out of place
😂
@@jamesporter2542shows us the wallpaper in your shack.
He just deadass dropped "That's what your wife said" as a comeback
That means that Columbo was indirectly responsible for her death.
@@bernhardwall6876No matter what Columbo did, he planned to kill his wife. Columbo just made him panic and do it unplanned
That episode was so good!
The officer was absolutely terrifying.
Man, she drowned in like 5 seconds.
1970s tv censorship artistic license
The bubbles did it
I counted approximately 7 seconds
You would too with that horrid wallpaper and carpeted bathroom…life would be no more worth living!!
You've just lost your badge my friend
One of my favorite episodes...with a mic-drop ending, no doubt.
Richard Kiley was a brilliant character actor. I thought he was great in this episode.
Yeah, because of him this was one of my favourites. Couldn't believe he was also an amazing Broadway star with a fabulous voice.
He plays a heckuva S.O.B.
He did a lot more than just character acting. He was also a singer and narrator. Here's an interesting fact for you, he was the voice of the Jurassic Park tour guide heard on the speaker when they took their first tour of the park.
He's a classic go-to old-style TV heel.
Spared no expense
The ending of this episode was the perfect setup for his cunning boss. His boss thought he was smart enough fool Columbo but in the end Columbo outsmarted him.
Columbo, the original “that’s what she said” guy.
Those orange chairs were in Lee Grant's office in Dead Weight.
Lee Grant was in Ranson For A Dead Man. Eddie Albert was in Dead Weight.
Dead weight was with Eddie Albert
@@jimmikulsky4810 *Correct it was Ransom for a Dead Man.
His boss is nervous, and it shows. He throws his superior position around to Colombo.
These are my favorite scenes of the series
Lee Grant was in Ramsom for a dead man.x
This is a Really good one.
Richard Kiley
He didn't lie. His marriage was a "constant joy" right until he drowned her, which he seemed to enjoy immensely.
columbo never solved crimes in the trailer park
Lol, and
I guess he worked in a wealthy precinct.
No money to be made there.
It's possible the actual murder could take place in a trailer park, or scrap yard, etc., where his car might've fit in; but it always led to the well-to-do neighborhoods where he stood out like a sore thumb, and they had the latest tech gadgets to make it interesting. Also, a lot harder to trace the bald tires on a '63 dodge than the new tires on a late model, European import..😅
A Friend in Deed , top episode ( I love Columbo : Peter Falk )
and they mess up the delivery in the chapel😅
Bit silly. Nobody drowns that quick.

Oh, so going underwater for 3 seconds can drown you?! How are any of us still alive?!😂
2:06 Columbo makes the rookie mistake of asking about 'a couple of other things' instead of 'Jess ONE mo' thing', allowing the suspect to escape. Tragically, this indirectly causes the death of Mrs Suspect. This fact must haunt Columbo, as you see the detective (almost obsessively) never commit that same error for the enirety of the rest of his career.
That must be the most ultra-quick fastest "drowning" of all time!? 2 seconds underwater & she's dead...
This is a youtube clip, not the original episode. Believe it or not, much content from the episode was cut to fit into a 4:21 clip.
@@Adam1nToronto My mistake then, my mistake!
The best one 💪
She didnt even trash about in the water and grab at his face and stuff!!! Amazingly compliant way to peg off at the hands of a murderer.
They're married. It's *their* inheritance.
No, that's not how that works from a legal standpoint. My mother died and left my sister and I a sizable inheritance. I was not required in a legal sense to share the inheritance with my wife.
It's not - inheritances are considered separate property. It's only if the assets become co-mingled e.g. if they're part of the marital 'pool', or used to buy something together, or a very long time passed, that the assets become shared.
@@kozzoz Morally, the entire plot of being part of a married couple, is that ALL assets and ALL resources belong to the family, not the individual. Just because the husband may earn more than the wife does not mean that he has more money; it's *their* money.
Otherwise, you're just self-serving individuals who happen live together.
@@fredmercury1314 Who said that legality was moral?

The story is full of holes. The ending is good.
