- What I wish someone would have told me about kayak fishing! I absolutely love kayak fishing, especially for bass, and especially in kayak bass tournaments! I have learned many things about this sport over the years, I am going to share a few things about kayak fishing I wish I would have learned sooner! Good stuff Jeff! The information highway has certainly evolved. Back in the day we relied on forums for ideas on kayak fishing. Now, CZcams videos seem to be one of the major contributors for kayak fishing information. For me, it wasn't the tournaments but rather just to be on the water. One rod, one box of lures, my PFD, paddle, pliers and that was it. Now my gear weighs more than the kayak itself. Learning how to scale down is difficult as you mentioned. Thanks for this video. I'm just getting into the idea of kayak fishing. I'm excited to get my first kayak but i'm taking my time to make sure its a solid initial purchase. Your video is a great help.
appreciate the guidance. I'd like to add that it can be difficult to distinguish quality until you test a lot of these products. It may be helpful to some to invest in warranties. I've had big box warranties but if the rod isn't made anymore, you're out of luck. I have a decent spread of brands but have recently started reinvesting in one brand due to the warranty and service. My $0.02.
Iv try to live by the saying Buy once cry once, I new with only 30 percent use of my left ankle I had too get off the banks and didn't think I'd enjoy a peddle kayak so I purchased my Autopilot 120 and truthfully I don't regret it
