Now that’s one good looking Mustang!! 😍
Loved getting to work on this classic today…hopefully I’ll see a few more like it soon! Have a great weekend guys!
Classic car with a classic makeover. Good job! (As always) ❤
what is kanglim hari?
The leather seats and interior were so out of this world. They came out superb
ikr
You should detail more classic cars!!
Today is the day where I feel old. When I read "classic mustang" my brain went to the 1960's. Then I read 1990. That hurt my soul, man. 😭
Me too 😵💫
Same. He pulled it into the "gradge" and I was like, heeeyyyy... wait a minute... that's not right. 😂
Same here hehehe.
So much pain!!! 😂 90’s were just yesterday, right?!?
Same, my friend, absolutely the same. 😂
I'm just amazed at how thick the carpet is... looks like something I'd put in my house!
All ford vehicles got that plush carpet in the 80s/90s
@@enjoythesho1992 , yea with various vehicles these days you're likely to get something that resembles a Scotch Brite pad, lol. Our van isn't even 10 yrs old & has rough, thin black carpet that looks like a putting green... -_-
@@zenithperigee7442 yea my wife's 2018 soul has carpet that resembles velcro its rough as all get out and everything clings to it
Before they started cutting corners to save money lol
That is after market carpet .
The fact that it's not full of rust.. is pretty impressive.
yeah , clearly cherry picked one for the video. I had 6 of these 25 years ago and never saw one so clean and straight
I think the dark maroon hides it. The LR quarter is rotted out pretty bad, and saw some bubbling over one of the fenders in the intro. Still in good shape despite that.
@@mattevans8517 hood and rear quarter is only spot with rust on this car, I own it
This one's been repainted at some point and time already! That's not a 1990 color, more like '82 gt color. Also not oem carpet, these cars didn't come with rear seat delete kits, I'd guess that they replaced all the carpet when they installed the delete kit.
I have an 88 gt cobra hatch myself, and an 83 Mercury Capri RS, still a really good car and definitely fun to drive it!❤❤
I was 8 when this car was made, and they still excite me to this day! My first car was a 1988 Mustang LX in blue. Loved that car. Miss it every day. Very nice to see Mitch working on something near and dear to my heart.
Same for me! ‘82 baby here and boy does this bring back some memories! My cousins had one they drove. It had a hole in the floorboards that you could see the road through 😂
I wasn’t even born when this car was made,
I had a blue LX 89 too. I will always remember the vibrations of the engine in the gear lever.
It's absolutely great to see a clutch pedal in this detail as it is a rare occasion 😀
I had forgotten how thick carpet used to be in vehicles. Nice to have a good flashback when there was quality put into vehicles and great job as always.
The only thing I don't miss about these older cars is the complete lack of cup holders. 😆
Quality isn't how id truly describe a Fox. Sturdy, yes, but very cheap.
OMG!!! You'll think that this car just came out of the factory.
Question: This is the only channel that cleans the under carriage, but why do we not see the engine bay get some detailing love too?
I have been driving since 1980 when I was 17 and I learned on an automatic. In my early 30's my dad taught me to drive his manual truck. I had a lot of trouble at first because there was no gearshift knob, just the long stick coming out of the floor. Going up hill and around a curve at the same time was insane, but I finally mastered it and he bought me a manual 4 door Geo. I loved that car. I named it Betsy. lol I learned one thing when driving on snowy roads is that before you start down a hill is to shift it down and you won't slide. I drove in 1994 to town with my kids in big snow for the first time with big hills, curves and no guardrails. Never had one problem. I love window cranks in a car because if the electronic windows mess up you can crank them down.
This stang was well taken care of.. the upholstery is in good condition. Fun to watch… great job!
Hey Mitch. I started watching your videos about a year ago, and you’ve given me some great tips and have also inspired me to start my own detailing business in NE, USA. Thank you.
I love watching you clean these vehicles, and while it's out of your control I'd love to see more relics like this
“Relic?” 🤔
My dad had a Mustang in the 80s. I don't know what year. I remember riding around in it. I think It was about the same color as this one. It was the only Ford he allowed in his garage. He's a Mopar man. 😂
Just had a look at them online. Probably an 86 in the red. That seems to fity memory. I was about 5 at the time. I think it had a t top.
Mopar is dodge😅👍
My grandma had an 80s mustang when in the 90s and when I bought my 86 it brought back memories I didn't know I had for me and a couple of cousins.
@@kevinklement8781 he said it was the ONLY Ford that was allowed in the garage since his dad was a mopar man
@@kevinklement8781 Mopar is Chrylser, Plymouth, Dodge, Jeep, and Eagle. Dad typically drives a Dodge. That's why I said this was THE ONLY Ford he's ever owned.
@@rubendelgado2682 She, but yes. He's never had another and I don't imagine he ever will. 😂
Loved the change up. Seems like there has been a lot of crossover suv details lately. It's awesome to see something unique like this classic mustang it was so awesome to see the reveal. Keep it up LOVE the channel. Do you use the same process with older vehicles? Does the products react differently with older paint?
Agreed. I couldn’t care less about SUV cleaning. I want to see some interesting different vehicles.
Reelin in the years! Great tune!
The car looks amazing - great job restoring!!! Have a great weekend, Mitch!
My back hurts just watching this man work.
Easily my fav episode out of recent uploads. I would love to see older vehicles & especially pickups on here.
This is one of my all time favorite episodes!! Thank you so very much for sharing!! That Mustang turned out so amazing!!
Watching that carpet cleaning was therapeutic!
it literally changed colors
Been a while since I’ve seen a window winder on a car door! Looked great and has obviously been well looked after over the years 👍
Aye, this was a fantastic job! The build quality of these older vehicles is so much better than the ones of today
One man's trash, is another man's treasure. Such a good purchase by the new owner.
I've always adore the Fox body 'Stangs
This is brings back memories of my dad’s 1991 Mustang Rag-Top V8. I bought it for him in December 1990 as a Christmas present. He babied that car! It was the last car he owned before he passed away in 2017 but it was his dream car. I know my dad would have loved to had you detail it, Mitch, by today’s products!
I don't know but there something that make me Happy when I see a Manual cars. Specially on North american video Maybe because they are soo rare nowadays and it was part of my childhood...
This year and model was my first car I've ever driven when i turned 16 in northern Alberta! These mustangs are so much fun to drive! I couldn't tell you how many times I drifted around town 😂🥰
You definitely breathed new life in that classic, what a transformation!
The fact that things from the 90s are classic now makes me feel old 😂🤣😭
my husband has one as his "project car" aka p.o.s. I'm glad you posted this so I can clean it better for him.
Love this!! I wish cars where still made like this. Not all high tech stuff in it. I have a soft spot for classic cars.
Nice video from a beloved channel. I love this kind of creative clips. Keep making beautiful videos. Your followers from Canada
What a flashback! I was in high school back in 1990 and my brother had a 5.0 like this in the exact same color.
Hey Mitch,
32 year old car got life again, thanks to you!!!♥️
As Always Amazing!!!♥️🤗
The love and care. Every Stang deserves
This was such a joy to watch. So many memories.... Thanks for the video. Just stunning!
Finally a "normal" car; sick of seeing little SUVs and trucks all the time- Thanks.
Fantastic work reviving this beautiful classic Mustang Mitch!!! Your process is UNMATCHABLE!!! Love from Maui ❤️
I love your content. It's always relaxing and inspiring.
When someone calls a 1990 Mustang a classic is when I really feel old! LOL!! Great work!
My grandfather had one of these when I was young. This brings back SOOOO many memories!
I absolutely loved this one. One of my favorite sports car. Your hard work and dedication is outstanding
Doing a job like this is refreshing. When it’s done the difference is amazing.Great job✊
Loved this detail! So refreshing to see an older car like that.. Well done, as always
I've got an '88 LX notchback...Thanks for this!
Wouldn't be a true Foxbody without a broken ashtray door.
Wow! My friend had a Mustang just like that back in the day cruising throughout our neighborhood. Bring back good memories.
Something about your videos just soothes the cockles of my heart. 🙃
Those look like T-Bird wheels, didn't think Mustang ever used these, they look good on it. As always your work made it spectacular to see, the owner must have been very pleased.
Older cars are always harder to clean as the dirt stays stuck on for longer so it’s so good how you made it out it’s the steamer did a really good job at the interior
This one tugged on my heartstrings. I'm 52 years old and had a similar car in HS [1985 hatchback], my folks had an '87 5.0L white convertible and my father-in-law had an '88 black 5.0L hatchback [both five speeds].These cars were SO fast and unassuming. Love watching your videos. So glad I stumbled across them a few days ago. Best to you. Lisa
Nice to see more classic cars and variety, great work
OMG The pony car I'm glad you had the opportunity to work on a classic car like this. A classic like this are few and far between today and you brought it back to life🤔😊👏
OMG! I love this...I was just looking to purchase a classic mustang to fix up. I know I've been MIA but glad to be back Mitch!
Just this morning I was filtering your channel for a manual transmission car couldn't find one and now here it is.
Wow, how awesome this car looks😍
Nice work Mitch, congrats for such good results. The car looks fantastic, and after the detailing looks more amazing than before! Keep it up and keep doing those awesome detailings! take care!!. Gretins from Argentina
Always love seeing retailers work on a car like mine it’s where my detailing passion started
Love the fox body mustang. Brings back alot of memories. Thanks for the awesome video.
I drive a 2015 Mustang GT currently but this particular body style Mustang will always be a dream for me to have. You did a spectacular job on it. I really enjoyed watching you detail it.
The sound of the engine!!! *chefs kiss*
A much needed slow-mo side to side wash mit action on this classic! It's like a time capsule! I bet this car has some stories it could share!
Love it! Great job!
I love Fox body Mustangs. I’m currently restoring an . You made my day DG! That car is an amazing survivor.
32 years and you made it look excellent. There were a few scuffs that were not going to be fixed, but the car sure looks clean and beautiful now. The carpet in the back of the mustang was better than my living room. You were so careful to not damage the clear coat that has been washed and rubbed away after so many years. And I gotta say, you look tan, rested and great. You must be having some time outside with the quad. Good for you! I ordered the Glass cleaning bundle and a lilly brush for my nieces new car off your father day sale. Thanks Mitch, you're the best!
The weather is so beautiful day and plenty sunny. Mitch has a chance time to relish riding the quad and kick away stress. He has a better opportunity to get new fresh air and enjoys happiness with his health.
Joel, you are right. Have an amazing weekend! Stay healthy and be safe.😎👏
@@cynthiahopkins7090 I am happy he's doing so well. Have a great weekend Cynthia! Relax and recharge!!
Wow…that car turned out fantastic!! Awesome job Mitch!!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
How fun, you got that right. Bring it back memories. wanted one in the nineties of course But couldn't get 1. Just picked up a 93 GT convertible, my graduation year, 2 years ago. Is pretty much stock . Didn't need much of a detail. This was fun to see this one , that definitely needed a detail, being done..
One of my favorite cars ever here. Love this era of Mustang.
Love how it looks keep going bro 🔥🔥
This brought me back to my youth. My first brand new Car was a 1993 Mustang LX Hatchback 4 Cylinder Twin Plug engine. I wanted the 5.0 but insuring it in NYC was very cost prohibitive. Gasoline back then was around $1.20. The car was terrible in the snow and deadly on curved off ramps as the rear would slip out from under you, but I still loved that car.
I am a Camaro fan myself but you did a FANTASTIC job on this car...it looks great!
this is my favorite detail yet!!! I love this car so much I want one of these so bad!!
That was a fun one to watch, well taken care of car, nice plush carpet and the seats look comfy.
That model mustang is the best!
You look like a giant cleaning that car. ❤️ All the other cars you do are so big!!
My dad has a 1969 mustang and we have not drove it in years thank you for reminding me of it I was 3 when I first road and now I am 16 so that was 14 years ago I miss it so much memories 🥹
Today's my birthday. I've been wanting one of these mustangs since my dad had one. He had one for 14 years. I never got to drive it unfortunately, and he sold it too. I am trying to save up money to buy one near me in new york. I'd treat this thing like a baby because it is such a beautiful car. Miss my dad and his excellent choice in cars.
Great transformation 👏. Car looks as good as it sounds.
18:00 Just as a friendly suggestion, it would be awesome to have a product that removes the yellowing from the plastics of older cars without having to go through the retrobrite process (dismantling everything and use hydrogen peroxide and UV light).
This is one enjoyable detailing session. Wish I had a chance to work on a car like that 'stang.
Awesome video Mitch! You don't get to see older vehicles like this detailed! TGIF! 💯💯💯
Love those cars! I had a navy blue convertible 5.0 when I was younger!
Excellent work! God bless you and yours! Keeping you in prayer!
I love to put on Detail Geek vids while I am working around the house (it feels motivating), so I'm not always paying rapt attention, but the Steely Dan at the end made me stop and rewind! You are as focused on detail in your playing as you are in your work- sounding great!
oh yeah...and the Fox Body looks pretty good too ;)
Two old favorites...that car and that song
Brought back some memories. My first car was an 81 Mustang. Similar color and exterior. Man, I loved that car. My Dad used to laugh at how often I detailed it.
That came out awesome, the end result has always been my favourite part of the job.
Very cool detail! Loved it.
I had a 88 t-top mustang big bird yellow as I called it when I was younger..wish I had that bk..it had a notch back which are rare now.. I loved that car
roll up windows--brings back memories--smile Surprising little rust
Very nice ride! Awesome job as always!
My uncle had one of these in jet black, fun fact as a kid the first playboy magazine I witnessed was under his seat me and my cousin found 😂😂 sweet job man really brought that thing back to life looks friggen sweet for its age!
I’m 19 and I’m saving up to buy by uncle’s 87 Mustang GT. 5.0L V8, manual transmission, same color red, all original, in pristine condition, 160,000 pampered miles in 20 years. It’s never been raced. I love that car so much and I’m going to continue to take great care of it once it comes into my hands.
I’ve always loved the look of the Fox body mustang!!
This is also my FAVORITE episode! I owned a 90 LX 5.0 manual but mine was bright red with a maroon interior. I LOVED THAT CAR and miss it every single day…..even the winters in Wisconsin. I dream of owning another Mustang on the daily! #lifegoals AWESOME VIDEO MITCH!
I actually think that the Mustang is in great condition! I would love to work as a detailer! Brings me so much peace to see the before and after!
WOW!!! Certainly a blast from the past!!!
I think this is the cleanest detail I’ve seen you do!
Excellent job as usual. And that was a good question I was thinking the same thing.
My dad has a ‘91 5.0 LX! Loved seeing it in the vid
Vehicle look in great shape for the year. Excellent job on the detail 👍
That car is in amazing shape. Love this style mustangs 🎉❤❤❤
i like how you really get the detail of every creek
Looking forward to this, Yay!
Nice work. Thanks for sharing.
