The costumes she had were amazing
Ravenna is a literal mirror of abuse reflecting the darkness alighted on her. The ungodly death of lust and violence visited upon her was reflected back on the men and their families who stole her innocence and ripped her away from her family. Pretty much all evil queen Disney princess stories are about breaking the cycle of violence and a cautionary tale of being kind towards widows or some magic level of pestilence falls on entire kingdoms and nations for the broken heartedness of a single person. 😅😢 It's sad but dang they dud a good job with her outfits.

She is the "Darth Vader" of the Snowhite and the hunter saga ,only that instead of the body movements of David Prowse and the voice James Earl Jameson, Ravenna has Charlie Theron.

I just realized that ravenna and freya aren't bio siblings. After watching all the global conflicts in the news, the part where she grabs SW face and says "watch them die, we're not that different are we?" all while their armies were slaughtering each other. That one really hit.😮
What? They ARE bio siblings. When Freya didn't have power at begnning of second movie, Ravenna told her that magic runs in their family, so Freya still have time to get her power.

If you have compassion for her (a mass murderer, torturer, tyrant...), then you should be against the Punitive Justice System, even in the case of Serial Killers, Mass Shooters, etc. Some of those were actually r@ped on a daily basis by their caretakers, bullied at school in ways that amount to actual physical and mental torture, and/or were forced to grow up homeless and/or in the juvenile prison system, being beat up/tortured by the wardens. The worst perpetrators are, often times, the most tragic victims of this indifferent cosmos we live in. At least that's what I know.
