Shay’s combat looks like takedowns only no fighting you just click one button like an Arkham game. Unity looks like they block and defend themselves and actually have a challenge.

@NumaxNinja But the thing is Assassin's Creed is supposed to be a stealth game not an action game. If action is too easy then alot of players won't bother with stealth so having it be a challenge is more in line with the spirit of the series.

I like Shay because he’s similar to Altair because he’s mostly business. Takes his job professionally.
I disagree I feel he is a character who often thinks with his heart it is a logical heart though I feel he may have more common ground with altier/arno/Connor then any of those assassins found in they're own order

The problem with Unity combat is that its always buggy and not working properly, which you can see here when some enemy strikes SHOULD land on Arno but don't. And that's the very few bugs that are to your benefit rather than detriment.

Man, I finished Unity recently, and I will say that Unity is by far one of the underappreciated and underrated titles that actually had some of the best combat mechanics

@@vladtheimaplertepesshay has lived and breathed in fighting stealthy opponents like the stalkers and has past experience fighting against assassins more than arno who mostly fought templars with no skills that even comes close to those assassins that shay fought. Shay’s eagle vision will help him sense whoever is stalking him

@@vladtheimaplertepes Shay vision which i call the hunter vision helps him catch hiding assassins. Like he hears their breathing and whispering. Arno's vision helps him see through walls and memories. I honestly think Shay's eagle vision is a direct counter ro Arno's stealth.

Unity's combat is one of the best in the series. The attacks feel weighty, the enemies can actually parry, and there is some challenge. Meanwhike Rogue, along with 3 and 4, is like fighting elementary school kids.

I highly disagree. It’s so buggy sometimes, and you’re supposed to be an Assassin, not a random fencer who happens to be an Assassin. You’re pretty much meant to be a god when taking down your enemies

I think ac unity has the best combat system out of all of the assassins creed series cause it’s not like the rpg games exactly but it’s cleaner and more stylish than the older games that came before it

@@JFVideos960 Bro, it isn't. When I first played AC4 it felt like a breath of fresh air from the generic and repetitive combat themes we got in AC Rogue.
Hell, even AC1 had better combat soundtrack. A 2007 game had better and more creative combat music than a 2014 game.

It's because Shay's combat mechanics come under the same categories as Black Flag, the old assassin creed creed game mechanics
Arno is also a weapon expert, he may not have the combat system from the previous games but he sure does has the better combat system of AC1.

I'm so glad I waited to play from black flag onward, it's taken me 3 years to complete every Creed game up to Mirage.
Combat changed a lot between these two game so I don’t think it should determine who is more deadlier. Heck the enemies from origins, odyssey and Valhalla are way more tankier than these guys yet all 3 are deadly assassins
If i am being honest, i prefer unity combat more because it looks realistic, unlike ac 3 4 and Rouge, where you can kill 50 people under a minute

Shay doesn't really have his own style due to AC Rogue not being a mainline game. But I suspect his style would be similar to Haytham and Connors.

I love arno but I don't think shay would have any problem mopping the floor with him. Shay knows all of their tactics and how assasins think and he literally wiped out an entire faction of them and most of them out ranked him.

Combat smoothness and parcor unity brutality mostly taken from black flag and weapons Rogue I mean for creis sake we have a katana and tanto as our weapons my favorite weapons but it woud have been nicer if they were like in 1.2.broather hood and Revolution what to i mean to use the katana forward and the tanto as a backwards bought weapons individual knife and sorwd like they did in those 3 games

@@atomic747 It has nothing to do with difficulty, meat rider 😂 Unity isn't hard. The animations are unpolished and horrible. Do you not see how janky that $hit looks? Literally every other game in the series has smoother and better looking combat than Unity. Even Syndicate's was a lot better, and that's saying something because it was pretty bad in that game too.
