@@banchas75 The Blonde Invasion was a thing in the late 1980’s with bunch of UK based indie pop rock bands with guys, but with a blonde lady doing the lead vocals. Alvvays is what I think of as a "Mom and Pop" band -- them and Sylvan Esso and Still Corners, among others. Not because they would necessarily appeal to my parents, but because they consist of a man and a woman as their permanent core.
