are you sure that the weight of the quantities put in this bread is the correct one? because with 600 ml of liquids, if I put only 840 g of flour, only a big porridge comes out. revise the quantities, otherwise I'll post what came out of your recipe, and you don't want to see... pancake batter

We are from the USA and we absolutely love Turkey! We have made fabulous friends in Turkey over the years. We visit these friends each year in Istanbul. Our Turkish friends and us spend time in Istanbul for a few days and then we enjoy the fabulous beaches of Antalya and we have been to the city of Ephesus and the house that the Mother of G_d (The Virgin Mary) lived her final days after her son was crucified in Jerusalem. There are just so many wonderful and fabulous people in Turkey. We hope to be back in Istanbul the summer of 2022. We get all of our spices from the Hyatt's at the Istanbul spice market they are located in stall number 8.
Wow
Классный парень Молодец , Лайк !!!
Thank you.... This is exactly like our Indian Naan, Ingredients and menthod is similar except that we do not add sugar to the flour
We garnish it with butter and chopped coriander leaves or Fenugreek leaves.

I remember when I was 4 (I'm 93 now) my mom took me to Zahle, Lebanon. My family originated in Turkey. I wandered into town and remember seeing women standing around a community oven, much like a hot dog stand, waiting for their dough to be baked into this same bread. The bread came out on the wooden paddle like a balloon. They also would have him bake a whole chicken. I also remember they ate their food by grasping with a piece of this bread. It was a little thinner.

66.
What a delicious bread! I finally got around to making this, and it was so wonderful. I seasoned it with butter, salt, pepper, garlic, and oregano. Mine didn't puff up like yours did, but there was some inflation when I cooked it. I put the extra in the freezer (although there wasn't much left over :D) and heated it up in the toaster oven when I wanted some. It was almost as good as freshly made. I'm making it again today. I can't wipe the enormous grin off my face. Thank you again for sharing!
Seriously, if I, who ruins everything, can make this, ANYONE is capable of making this recipe with this video.
HSBCc,
Te estoy viendo en la ciudad de Toluca estado de México
Did you use self rising or all purpose ?
@@AishahBintPatterson I used store brand all purpose flour. I'm very envious and excited for you to make and EAT this flatbread. Enjoy!
At marker 5:36 it says to use a thick bottomed pan because a thin bottomed pan won't allow the bread to rise. Perhaps your pan is thin?
Thank you Lina! I am in Canada, and I cannot wait to try this bread. This will be good with meals in the summer when it is too hot to use the oven.

@ Nicole Horvath, The restaurant is called Bayshore Mediterranean. It's at S MacDill Ave and InterBay. It's actually a Turkish/ Lebanese restaurant. Very good food too about 2 miles north if the base.
