At 33:40, he couldn't get the goal so he makes up some excuse for a foul. Not to mention his big time travel on the wrong pivot foot. I'm glad Canada couldn't score

Just watch point 17 of this game and you'll get the gist of it. (Starts at 31:25)
That said, here's all the contact and unsportsmanlike conduct. The worst include an asterisk.
*4:50, first major contact. Only the second point.
*11:11, guys in bottom right of screen (Japan #29) shoving each other a lot. Ends in each shoving the other.
    12:24, nothing crazy...
12:36, WTF is that Japanese mark doing hugging the thrower on the very next possession...
15:49, The marking has been very tight so far this game and Japan foul here
    16:43, ?... very minor
    17:39
    18:52
    20:07, Japan marker fouls
20:30, Japan marker fouls. Also lots of contact on the ensuing look. Looks a lot more like soccer with D grabbing shoulders.
    21:38
22:47, Japan still marking too close, but nothing called
    23:08, Japan marker fouls
    24:07, Canada marker fouls
24:10, Canada marker fouls, and contact on the receiver
26:52, Japan foul and contest the call
*27:40, Japan foul quite needlessly here. Same guy that got crushed last point at 24:10. Did this set off the series of dangerous defensive bids from Canada for the rest of the game?
*28:45, two separate cases of contact back to back here. One where a Canadian player recklessly cranks his own teammate.
    (*Point 17 starts*)
    31:51, Unnecessary backpacking
    32:16, Canada marker fouls
    33:17, Clean D by Canada
33:39, Foul? Bad sportsmanship on this call by Canada
34:08, more contact on the ensuing throw by a poaching Japan player
35:17, pileup then an intentional foul by Canada
36:13, Japan 11 shoves and picks Canada 4
    37:29, Japan marker fouls
38:37, Japan marker fouls but calls something and disc returned to Canada?
    39:34, Canada pushes Japan
    40:20, Almost clean
    40:39, a 7 second stall-out
    41:39
45:00, Some audible frustration from the Canadian sideline after a minute of debating the resolution of this play where they're clearly in the wrong.
*46:40, reckless backpacking bid injures a Japan player. Then at 47:07 is frustrated with the injured Japan player. Wow.
*47:36, that heated player then does the exact same thing literally right after injuring a player on Japan...
*46:56, That sir is a body check
    49:33, actually pretty clean
    49:57, Canada marker fouls
    50:25
*50:34, another stupid backpacking bid by Canada
    (*Point 17 ends*)
55:24, Japan tries out the backpack bid
    58:23, Canada marker fouls
    58:37, Canada marker fouls
*59:48, Stupid contact. Not close enough to even be a pick
1:00:30, On the positive side, two clean layout D attempts by Canada here.
*1:03:23, Japan player feels fouled, mark thinks otherwise. The next 2 mins is pretty heated.
    1:06:00, Unsportsmanlike spike and celebration
*1:08:01, two more dangerous and stupid defensive bids back to back from Canada
1:09:54, Canada mark shoves handler during stoppage...
1:10:17, same couple of players here
    1:10:40, Canada marker fouls
*1:10:53, another reckless Canadian layout bid. At least from this angle.
    1:11:04, Japan marker fouls
1:11:34, Japan with a cleeeeeeean layout D. Canada's just look reckless when this is what they should look like.
    1:14:45
    1:15:11
    1:15:46
    1:17:44
    1:17:52,
    Other gameplay
3:35, disc put in play on defending endzone cone @ forced sideline
*3:56, goal scored because of quick movement off sideline
6:13, failed poach leads to goal
    7:14, Kichikawa (#12) perfect huck
    9:51, oof that's a rough turnover
    12:45, Kichikawa would've made this
13:23, definitely in. Bad eyes or bad spirit by Canada here
14:38, great clean bid by Japan
    14:45, I am a Kichikawa fanboy
*17:30, great movement here to score, starting with reset off forced sideline
*18:43, Scoring on forced sideline. Not swinging and using the width.
    21:01, 😳
22:12, nice open side reset. Also Kichikawaaaaaaaa!!
    23:32, A bad Canadian huck
23:59, disc put in play on defending endzone line near forced sideline
24:55, disc put in play on defending endzone cone @ forced sideline, and Japan returns the favour from 9:51.
    32:35, I like Kichikawa's scoop move here
37:15, Kichikawa ain't infallible. Calls a timeout at 36:28 after a long point, but then turns it over.
38:21, I like this no pivot backhand break, right under the arm of the too-close defender.
39:00, Turnover on reset to breakside. Receiver was open but cut away.
40:33, A difficult reset to open side
42:35, Kichikawa with a terrible huck
    48:34, reset to break side
49:28, disc put in play on defending endzone line near forced sideline
    50:13, reset to open side
50:40, 2 poor turnovers back to back here
*50:59, Awesome work here by Kichikawa to end this 20 minute long point finally, and after a sprint downfield to cover on defense.
54:17, great reset to the open side
54:30, this goal is just so clean. No huck, no endzone vert stack. Just ho straight to a goal.
56:35, great deep poach here. Even if this throw wasn't short, it would've been heavily covered by Canada.
1:06:00, EZO on forced sideline @ cone
1:09:40, turnover on a reset to the breakside
    1:12:25, Reset to the breakside
    1:12:33, Reset to the breakside
1:15:03, clumsy cutting on this possession, one big poach
    1:19:51, Universe point. Kichikawa!

Ultimate is technically non-contact but in practice there is some contact that is okay in certain situations. For example a some contact happens when a handler tries to go up-line and the dump defender holds his ground. If two people go up for a disc and the defender gets the disc first a little contact is made after then most teams say good D However Ultimate is certainly a non-tackle sport

What a douche Seraglia is. Nice job spiking the disc at the defender after you score and then needing teammates to pull you away from yelling at him. There's no excuse for that and the "apology" from their team was lamer than their play. Disgraceful play by the team and worse that it was done by their captains. It'll be a long time before I cheer for FG again. This coming from a Vancouverite.

I watched until 8 - 8 and had to stop... Canada playing like a bunch of douchebags. Tackling, undercutting players, phantom fouls, taunting- You'd think they were playing basketball down the street...

I'm surprised the announcer hasn't said something about how terribly his "native" team is performing not only in play, but also in sportsmanship.
I really hope at the end of this video Canada loses, they do not deserve to win with that attitude.

Holy shit 46:00 to 48:00 are number 1, 2, and 3 on the list of worst, most shitty bids I've ever seen. What the bloody fuck was 48:00's excuse?

Dear Team Canada. You made a mockery of our sport and disgraced yourselves. You lost more than the game - you lost the respect of the world. This is especially sad because your country is is one of the most spirited and positive Ultimate communities in the world! Hopefully this will be cause for reflection and improvement... Japan's calm and good spirit despite your disrespectful behavior towards you was AMAZING.

Gotta say, I am a little disappointed to be represented by such bad sportsmanship. However, I am pretty sure Toronto Rush will represent Canada well in the AUDL. A lot of the guys on toronto rush are from my university and theyre great guys.

I'm kind of embarrassed to be a Canadian after this game. Poor spirit on our part. I hope I never end up playing a game with that poor of sportsmanship.

well... let's just look at the rule book, then!
from the USAU website--"Ultimate stresses sportsmanship and fair play. Competitive play is encouraged, but never at the expense of respect between players, adherence to the rules, and the basic joy of play."
if you want different rules, find a different sport. because this is written out incredibly clearly
