I've owned a fair few high end guitars, Fender, Gibson, PRS, madter luthier custom builds. The number 1 is my Ibanez Prestige RG5121. Just the easiest and most playable guitar I've ever held. The all round quality puts Fender & Gibson to shame.
Really? I see them all the time in the two Guitarcenters next to me. I bought a used one for a ridiculous deal! It was in horrible condition but nothing some careful maintenance couldn't fix.
I have nothing against the newest Ibanez guitars but I love my 1994 RG470 with all my heart. I bought it brand new in highschool and it still plays like brand new in 2023. Now the electronics are starting to wear out in regards to the 5 way selector switch and the pickups don't sound great to me now (change in taste). I will say I bought a RGIB21 about two years ago which plays and sounds awesome but I didn't kill my wallet to buy it. My next Ibanez is probably going to be a 7 string RG.
You can never have too many RGs, I have 4, from a cheap RG220B I got as my first good guitar (and had Seymour Duncans put in, in fact, I have Seymour Duncans in all my RGs) to a Premium RG1XXV 25th anniversary RG, I love them all so much!
Can fully understand your enthusiasm for this guitar, and great video review by the way. Would so love to get my hands on one, have been drooling on this one in blue since i very first sore it. No i just need to figure out where i am getting the £2000 from to buy one.....
Buying one. This 2023 release is the best Ibanez have had in a while. Lots of killer stuff
New goal: Once I've signed on for my new job, place the preorder on one of these! Looks and sounds absolutely killer.
Ibanez rules!! 🤘🏿🤘🏿

great video once again
Wow, these are pretty neat.. let’s just hope their availability is on point this year.. I haven’t seen an AZ in the US since 2020
Sweetwater always has them. You can pre-order all them right now.

Ordered one in brownish sphalerite. Can't wait to get my hands on it.

Nice, just wondering how the frets are holding up . I've got a new genesis 550, 8 months old and frets are wearing out already.

I see the new Multi-Scale crossover behind the amp...when are you gonna show that one off? 🙏🙏🙏
Look amazing
it could have been a perfect guitar if the back was painted in translucent
this doesnt sound right for a hsh...somethings up with that middle pickup doesnt balance well.
It's got a ' brownish ' top! Take my money! :)
My tax forms have better names than Ibanez guitars
It sounds very bass heavy to me?
Not at all.they are mid heavy…and tight on bass…very full sounding…very Suhr like
Fantastic guitar. But they cost a fortune in South Africa.
if you could leave blasphemy out it'd be appreciated. After all it's a mere piece of wood :-) nicely ut together, sure. Thanks.
