As always, Dante is about style although are his combos really worth the effort when other characters can do as much damage without any effort at all? Hmm...

Awesome job Persona! Way to keep supporting the scene and showing that this game has some depth to it. Its videos such as this, that will show people that this game isn't a clone of Smash Bros. GET HYPE!

All I did was type Playation all stars battle royal combos, and Dante's combos were the first to show up. ;)

could you explain how the cancel thing works that you're doing? it's a great video to show off but it's only frustrating if I'm not understanding it
Do the double air dodge. Air dodge as soon as you jump and hold down x until the dodge runs out, then re-jump and air dodge again
Holy crap this is amazing. I wish more dante players really use him like this guy does. Most people use cheap, easy to use dante combos. Dante can be cheap, but he is also the most advanced character in the game

@Phoyze to learn the combos break them up into different pieces. Learn them and practice the short strings separately then link it all together.
Fucking hell, it's like watching a Devil May Cry combo video, similar to all of the weapon switching jump canceling shenanigans that you'd normally see. I wonder if these advanced techs were intentional.
Can you make a list of the button combo inputs?
The cancel combos work like a bridge, from square to triangle to circle or triangle to circle, but you can never go to the left for example circle to square. so in order to go from a quick hit to a up circle you must go to a quick triangle. Next time you play try hitting players with square square square, triangle triangle, then when they almost hit the ground hit up circle, this is the easiest combo IMO.

Yea it works because when you hit them with the foward square move they fall back in the same way when you counter them with Dante's parry. Except this time you will have more time to use your lvl 1.
How do you counter Dante's combos? I play as Dante all the time, but when I play online against someone using him, they do the same sword combo over and over, and I can't even block it, or dodge it, and it ruins online play for me. Is there anyway to counter it without just running around all game?
Do you have any idea how hard these combos are to execute in game? I have trouble even following his combos... Dante is hard to build meter with because he's such a combo fiend but successfully executing these is definitely worth it. Was between him and Nariko and I can't say no to the beastial combos this guy can produce.

I'm having trouble executing the radec combo. I connect everything but when iI hold square, Dante doesn't go up with him for me to finish the combo. Did you run into this problem at all?
Which do you like better this dante or the one from DMC4? If you've played the DMC games that is.

I do. but it only works so many times. If you get the timing off, then you're stuck getting mobbed on by the same thing, I don't even have time to block most the time. It the exact reason I dont like to play fighting games online.

Are you sure the level one one is a true confirm? It seems like the opponent could get away
Does anybody know how to use empty cancel with dante its best for combos and a level 1 confirmed kill'!!
The empty cancels are easy to do but I called them noob cancels. I use to use them a lot until I find it quite too damn easy. Now I win matches without them.
Sure but I won't be back on until the weekend or Friday night. I just found a 172 AP combo with Dante yesterday.

I was trying to either main drake or dante but dante requires so much execution compared to others so I'm stick with drake.
Well the original Dante was only on PS2 which made him a playstation exclusive. At least until the new DmC came out but either way he's still Dante. One thing I don't understand is having Big Daddy in here

I found some and I do them online in quick matches on team match.
Level 1 kill confirms:
Jump, triangle, angel dash, foward square. make sure you are close to the ground so you can activate your lvl 1 in time.
Level 2 kill confirms:
This kill confirm pisses people off XD
Counter than lvl 2.
Jump, triangle, angel dash, foward square than lvl 2.
Jump and throw Dante's Demonic weapon (Don't know the name) while close to the ground. After that time your lvl 2 and you will kill them.
The only thing that would have made these better is if he had aquila for a pull in.

I do that as well, but like the parry, it only works so many times. Luckily I don't come across many players like that, it's mostly the people who use the characters with distance attacks that spam everything. Them and Zeus. Zeus is the most overpowered shot in the world. Seriously. Zeus is annoying.
Air dodge brah. All of dante's best techniques require both players to be grounded.

After playing the demo for DmC and PSAS, I think Superbot did a better job with dante then Ninja Theory.

PSAS Dante runs at 60 f/s and doesn't pause between combos! SO way better, but Im still waiting on ORIGINAL DANTE COSTUME DLC! C'mon Seth Killian i know ur reading this haha

that awkward moment where Donte's combos in a cross over game are better and more visually impressive than the combos in his actual game.
