Hey everybody this is Mr Garberich.
We're joined here with our laser hair professional, Susanna, which by the way is the highest level certification you can achieve, so she has great experience. We will be treating our client Victoria on her upper lip, chin and underarms.
The cool thing is we have a Candela Gentle Yag laser with some great features. One of which is a patented cooling system. So whenever the laser pulses, it sprays a cool blast before the laser pulses, making it more comfortable and with virtually no pain. So it doesn’t hurt.
It also has one of the largest spot sizes in industry, meaning the circle laser pulses an area up to 18 millimeter so that's super big, which means it takes less pulses to cover an area, again, making it more comfortable for our clients.
So that's very important.
So I think we're going to get started.
Victoria, are you ready. All right, so Victoria has had some for a couple sessions.
So the way that the hair follicle grows, it grows in three stages and so for that reason, not every hair is in the right stage that we need to have for the laser to be effective. So for that reason you need to do multiple treatments, so that we can each hair in the right cycle. Each treatment, we are only getting about 20% in the right cycle so the laser is killing the hair follicle. Victoria will need to come in about every 4-6 weeks for at least 6 treatments to get good results. But she’s already said she’s seeing good results.
There are a couple things you need to do beforehand. You need to shave the area. If you had hair sticking out, the laser would burn the hair and it would fall out, but it wouldn’t get the hair follicle, so it would grow back. So it’s important to shave before.
