Im an American living in Germany and your so right about german compliments. I have never got a direct compliment only looks of suprise and oh something smells good!.....yeah, that is me!
It’s funny how cultures can be so different. Germans are not used to giving or getting compliments. When I was visiting US it felt so refreshing to getting little compliments every day (some random things like the color of the shirt or something). But I guess it means a German compliment for a perfume equals at least 10 American ones if not more :)))

I def want to give this one a smell… My absolute fave perfume to this day, is Aventus for her 🥰 I have been considering getting Carmina
Very curious about your opinion on Queen of Silk then! I think Aventus for Her and Carmina are quite different from QoS, but all great in their own ways!
My goodness; I’m only a third of the way through the video and I’m SOLD!! You describe everything so well, I can’t wait to try it. It probably helps that I’m wearing and loving Carmina today. It took a few wears to really appreciate Carmina, but now I love it

Totally loved this review - I'm wearing the Queen of Silk sample right now and I've been searching for any info about it because for me, the scent is very unique and I'm debating buying a bottle. The only thing different for me is I disagree about not getting a silk feeling from the fragrance. When I first sprayed it in the store I remember thinking "this feels like I'm wearing a veil of silk". It creates a kind of silky, elegant aura for me. I don't think I've ever smelled anything quite like it - I absolutely love your description, so detailed! Thanks for making it!

More leather than silk for me, but these things are so subjective. It's really cool that the silk reference connects with you, I think that's what the creators wanted to achieve. Before I smelled it for the first time, I expected something completely different (irisy powdery scent), so maybe that's why I am not feeling the silk - because I was so surprised by the first impression. But very happy to know it works for other people! Makes me appreciate the perfume even more.

As a man this is the Aventus of creed woman lineup it’s the best smelling woman fragrance they make it’s versatile all ages all weather smells so natural smooth creamy and any woman wear this smell like money!

I got a sample yesterday (in the mail) and have now worn it for two days. I love it. It dries down so beautifully.
It is so elegant, isn’t it? I’ve been using it less often now that is’s become hot here, but when the cool weather returns in fall I will be wearing it more for sure!

I have to say it is nice but not full price worthy. Wait until it get to discounters.
I feel that the US price $445 is waaaaay too steep. Especially when it’s sold for approx 250€ (approx $270) in Europe. The European price is definitely more realistic and justified.
