Google Pay in collaboration with Visa and banking partners on Monday rolled out tokenisation across its platform, enabling users to safely transact with their cards and use the Tap-to-pay feature on near-field communication (NFC)-enabled point of sale (POS) terminals and online merchants. The feature is now available to users of Axis and SBI Card, with Kotak and more banks expected to follow suit very soon. With tokenisation, Google Pay Android users can use their debit or credit card to make payments through a secure digital token attached to their phone without having to physically share their credit or debit card details.

Hello sir... I want to know that can we have/use a single different mobile number for ( other then which is linked to bank account) for phonePe, Googlepay(UPI apps ). Will it work.?
I mean recently updated my mobile no. In Bank. But I can still use phone, Googlepay.. etc for sending and receiving money for day-to-day task with my other no. Linked to it. I have not updated my new no. On this app.
Is it because I have dual sim phone. Or UPI linking no. Should be bank linked no. Is not mendatory. Please 🙏 reply and give me some clarity. I have been searching answer for this from past 4 days and not getting clearity. 😅

This feature already available thi original wala G Pay me jo india me nehi hai. And now indian Google pay launched this beautiful features Like Tap and Pay like samsung pay and apple pay but apple pay currently not available in India. hey bro can you help please cause i can't add my card like you said i have an sbi visa debit card but when i scanned and adding my card there show's that "can't complete setup for contactless payment" but i have enabled that nfc feature but still it shows that i have even contacted google pay and sbi they are saying that there is now issue from their side.
But only allow Axis, kotak and SBI visa cards
What if i don't have nfc in my phone. Is it possible anyway to use tap and pay through gpay??
