Everybodys takling about Owen (who is amazing) but Carrie is so freakin talented, like the swiftness in all of her motions and just dedication you can see in her body movement is freakin awesome! Go her!

Her and Tori Caro (aka her friend who Reggie flirts with) are extremely talented. Savannah Mae is a great dancer, but Tori actually helped choreograph a lot of the dances

Owen was like brrrrrrrr the whole time haha - when he's in character he's totally got it but when out he looks like he just wants a nap
he said he was sick during a lot of the filming and was always tired so maybe that' why
He also was kenny ortega-ed into doing it after he was just joking with Savannah, so I donât blame the guy

Savannah's hair is really thin..you can tell by how it flows when she flips. Mine is thick and DOES NOT do that.
All you gotta do is watch the show to see that, when they perform that's when they use wigs

Owen really out here bodying this character! TBH I wasnât too sure about the show when hearing about it until I saw Owen! And he took my heart! The way he moved in episode 6 had me eradicated!
Guys, we all love Owen stealing the show but letâs not forget how Savannah, Tori, Kyra, Sofia and Halle killed it with the singing and the choreography! These five girls are so talented and deserve all the recognition! Letâs show them some love as well!

the best part is that it was made for like 8 year olds and us teenagers (me being 15) are loving it more than the kids probably do....
OWEN IS SO CUUUUTTEEE and honestly Savannah ate this up too, what a perfect combo. Hopefully we'll see more if there's a season 2!!!

Yeah it's a wig. When she isn't in her costume in the show, her hair is blonde. You can see it when they go to her house or when she's handing out flyers for Dirty Candy

I was just wondering why he could touch it because her hair (the blonde) is a part of her and he canât touch living people at this point, so touching her hair would be touching a living person. Yet, since itâs a wig, the hair isnât real and he could technically touch that, so I guess all those lessons with willie worked. Thatâs the only thing that makes sense to me anyway.

It's interesting how near the end, she reacts, originally was carrie going to learn about the ghosts. But in the actual video she doesn't, change of script or something
Yeah, I was wondering why she "reacts" to Alex (Owen) flipping her Hair here in the rehearsal but didn't in the actuall Scene.
It might just be her reacting as herself
someone came up with a theory that when luke, reggie, or alex pass through people (or when people pass through them) they have an emotional attachment to them. like how luke and julie fell in love, and how reggie and ray became friends (even if it was one sided), and im guessing they might have wanted something to do with carrie and alex but removed it. but idk if this theory is valid since willie has passed through loads of people yet never had an emotional attachment to one, but then again, it could just apply to the boys. but even then, im not exactly sure, but i think at least one of the boys have passed through someone who isn't ray, carrie, or julie and haven't felt anything towards them. (again im not sure since i don't remember them passing specifically through anybody else)
e if thatâs the case then how dose luke rlly feel about Julie because if itâs just Julie feeling like that that means Luke doesnât like her đ± plot twist but again I could be wrong

Savannah really killed this. The rest of dirty candy was the icing on the cake. Such a talented cast.
Sheâs literally one of the best dancers Iâve ever seen and that isnât a lie the way she moves her presence the beats the way she moves her hair like itâs so good her presence and energy is so strong snd fun just like her character and the song as well is so good and correlated with the dance and I live for this performance
My recommendations for the show include:
1) More background on Reggie and Alex. More about their families like with Luke. Maybe Reggie tries to get his parents together or just to see where they are now (besides a bike shop).
2) I think that it would be cool if they try to help Willie out with being free from Caleb.
3) What is with the connection with the mom? Why they are seen with Julie even though the only connection they had with their mom is the T-shirt and compliments.
4) Conquer Caleb
5) Caleb is trying to figure out the connection between Julie and the boys. Probably why he possessed Nick; to find out why Julie can make them visible.
Get Reggie a girlfriend (ghost? Carrie? Carrieâs friend?)
6) Background with Carrie? Why did Julie and Carrie have a fallout?

@@mareevaee8030 the age gap is too big for that. It was originally supposed to happen but at the time jadah was 14 and Jeremy was 22 so it would have been weird. So instead reggie could be in a relationship with tori aka carries friend.

The thing that I find impressive is how the dancers can completely ignore him the whole time like no eye contact or anything
My favourite song of the show! And the dance stole my heart. Owens cameo was hilarious but Savannah's performance and her character's all around attitude brings me joy. The way she loves herself above all else makes me love her even more and her songs are perfect for when I'm feeling myself. I'm thinking of learning the choreography just to dance to it while I listen!
Ive watched this rehearsal video so many times. I keep rewatching from 0:16 - 0:23 because the execution of that part is just killer. I love Savannah's confidence as well. I didn't like Dirty Candy at first but when I saw this rehearsal and the "Wow" rehearsal, I saw how much effort Savannah, Tori, and the others put into the dances, so I can appreciate Dirty Candy SO much more! I plan to one day learn the choreography because I've fallen in love with it, haha. Such a shame the show didn't get a second season.

the character alex, and owen in real life are just the biggest mood, i love them they literally always make me laugh, also the fact that the character alex and owen are such big inspirations to me especially because i have never felt more heard in a show than this one with alex being just open about being gay and about anxiety and it not being this huge thing that has all this attention to it, an that its just their and doesn't have a whole plot line directed at it. it makes me feel heard as a member of the lgbtq+ community and as someone who struggles with anxiety that is around the same age as the character alex, and how it doesn't matter who you love or what your struggles are its about who you are on the inside as a person.
