  • Last weekend Matt and I got together to run our Addictor's. We rode formation with his Addictor 245 and my 190. We had a ton of fun! Both of us burned up a full tank of fuel mashing around the lake. It was all smiles and miles!

I have never heard of these before today. They look fun as heck. a modest 30hp outboard gives big inboard boats a run for their money.

I’m stoked you found the world of Addictor boats through my channel! When I got mine I noticed a lack of good/modern footage on CZcams showing what they can do. I vowed to change that! Check out my latest video where I ran my Addictor really hard catching air. 👍

@@548HPCobra I stumbled across it trying to figure out the make of a tiny little speedboat this guy was working on in another video (I think his was a different make, but I couldn't tell what). I never knew anything that small existed outside of jet skis. a dingy for a sailboat is bigger, heh. I want a sailboat someday, and something like this would be a decent dingy that I could also have fun with on windless days.
That said, they seem to be exceedingly rare from what I can tell. Either being niche when new, not many surviving, or both. At least there wasn't any listed in Iowa.

@@DFX2KX They were all laid up in Dana Point, CA back in the mid 80’s to early 90’s before the company, Addictor Boats, went out of business. No one knows for certain how many of each model were made. The 190 is the model I see most for sale. The larger 245 Quarter Pounders almost never come up for sale and the king of them all, the 333 Bambino (largest) also rarely come up and if they do you’ll be paying $10K+ for one in good shape ready to use. They are rare, niche, and if in excellent shape sell for good money. Even Addictors that need TLC can sell for 3K-4K if you can find one. I don’t see many come up for sale in the Mid-West. You’d have to scour the internet across the US and be willing to drive to snag one. Check out the Mini-Boat Classifieds group on FB as well as the Addictor Boats group where you’d have the best bet of coming across one for sale. 👍

One of these came up for sale today where I live, the 245 in pretty decent shape with a 25HP Mercury 2 stroke. What is a fair price?

Have one of these sitting in my family shop in North Carolina they are fun to ride in but everyone on the lake stops you to talk about it

Nice! Yup, everywhere I run it the boat gets attention. The two questions I always get: How much to buy it? How fast does it go? : P

The sizes, 190/245/333, of the Addictors refer to the length of the hull in centimeters.

How much would you sell it for

    • @548HPCobra

Not for sale but Addictors in this condition w/original trailer can sell for 4K-6K.
