- This is a casual shopping experience at a popup plant event in downtown historic Jakarta. The booths are very diverse as growers/sellers from all over Indonesia come to this location to show us what they are growing. I casually tour the booths, showing you the stabilized/normalized plant prices post-covid where possible. I also share care tips where possible. I ended up buying a lot of plants, but the full plant haul video is only available to youtube premium members and patreon members.

I’ve had my Pepperomia Rosso for a few months, it seems to love my care, I find it really easy so far, it’s flowering constantly. I adore all the info you provide and the pace is perfect, variety too ❤

seany that's a white knight next to the PPP. from what i have learnt, you look at the stems:
- white and green with pink trim: white princess
- brownish with white stripes: white knight
- green: white wizard

You should definitely visit and make a tour video of plant market here in Bogor. Especially the ones near Depok, they are very cheap and most of my plants that I bought from there are also healthy and thriving now 😁

Id love to colect begonia,, and im stuck when you say "i should take care my begonia beter, before take another" (that mean we must learn a lot about begonia) and yes,, having begonia soooo tricky..... Sometimes she a good girl,, sometimes she can be a bad girl😂 she have a charm to make us always want to have them, but besides she so hard to understanable😅
Yes and different species require slightly different care. They also like consistency… a scheldule would work well for them.

I really liked the cycads and especially the variegated plumeria at the end. My favorite plant has to be cordylines, I known you have a few varieties including choc queen/miss andrea. So many varieties are in your area that you never see here in the US. I'd love to see more cordyline coverage I bet you can find some cool ones.

Wooh I have the lemon lime I think its a little bit brighter in color. But they actually can morph color a bit… depending on our environment.
@@onlyplants I saw your Lemon Lime while looking at your older videos. This is probably a sport or mutation of Lemon Lime. It sometimes happens, even with cuttings and especially with tissue culture.
Indonesia is definitely a gardener's paradise! I just discovered your channel, and I saw a previous video about the vanilla planifolia that was growing on your tree. Do you know by any chance where I can buy a vanilla planifolia in Bali? None of the garden centers I have been to sell it. I believe there are vanilla plantations in Indonesia, maybe in Bali too... Maybe I can buy it from another place in Indonesia that could send it to Bali? Terima kasih!
Wahhh a lot of people seem to be looking for this plant… i wonder why that is because its quite common. Have you tried tokopedia/shopee etc? Online marketplaces should have them.
I can't do begonias with hair, they don't do well. However, I can grow a cane begonia like crazy. Loved this video such great plants.
Thank you 😀 I filmed some insane begonia episodes, it should be out in 3 months time. Apparently a lot of them like cooler temp and didnt need high humidity!
@@onlyplants I live in SE Texas USA (Coastal) zone 9 so our winters are normally mild with a few cold snaps. Cane begonias like heat and high humidity (which we have). The ones with hairy legs and leaves are so different. But most of the time my begonias tell me when its time to water them. Thank you for your knowledge of plants.

Are you aware of the difficulty of bringing plants from Java back to Bali....Is it quite simple or do plants still need to go throuh customs/ quarantine?

Bali is a separate continent from Java and a local export permit is actually required… some people manage to bring in plants ok in their luggages if they pack it well. Also you can send via courier services, some require quarantine and some dont… you’d have to check to see which are suitable for you. 😀
