My introduction to Larry Miller was this special waaaay back when. Still a comedy gem.
Glad I watched the whole thing. One (just one, there are more) great thing about his humor is that it can never be dated.
MY EYE!! MY EYE!!!..... Boy am I lucky
oh my god... I seriously cannot thank you enough for having this video on your channel, I've been looking for this FOREVER. Obviously there's plenty of old examples of Larry doing his 5 drinking levels bit. But lemme tell ya, I'm 41, and back in my late teen years my big brother had a VHS tape of a bunch of stand up comedy, on it was THIS EXACT BIT. And I mean literally, the one featured above here. And I listened to that bit over and over... and over. I not only knew every word, I knew the goddamn cadence of Miller and how he did it to a millimeter. I LOVED IT. Cut to what was probably almost around 10 years ago, I finally found the original tape, only to see... like the whole first half of it got accidentally taped over by something else. Then I'm frantically searching on youtube, and see many examples of him doing it on other shows, but never THIS one. And as great a bit as it may be, I'm sorry but none of the others just weren't the same. I needed the exact iteration I "grew up on". Of course the great irony being, apparently this one's been knocking around youtube for almost 5 years now, going by publishing date lol
At any rate, THANK YOU for letting me finally get a copy of this specific performance!!!
I would have liked to see him do more acting, he's got a great presence.
One of the absolute funniest people on the planet today, and that's no lie.
