The CSLNM, also known as the W1 OSRAM, is the best thrower due to its small size but as a result, it doesn't produce a lot of lumens. W2 is noticeably brighter and has like 90% of its throw, the SFT40 is even brighter and is basically the same as the W2 in terms of throw, slightly behind. If I remember correctly, the SFT40 has 87% of the throw of the W1 and 2000 or more lumens compared to the 400 or so for the W1.
Great vid, thanks for the comparison. My identical M1 should be in today! Have the GT Micro too, the little tiny sideswitch is the only problem. 18650 and lighted tailswitch on the M1 edges the others for me. Now I want the M1 with SFT40!
Thank you speed appreciate you 🙏 The M1 is a excellent pocket thrower IMHO and I believe they have pocket clips for it. My sft40 version should be in today and I will definitely compare both.
So, apparently the 5A convoy driver is getting over driven and is actually 5.6A now. I got this information from the guy who runs the "Piercing the Darkness" YT channel. That might be part of the reason why the M1 is making so much more lumen. There might be some risk of the cslnm1 being over driven at that amperage. Please let us know if you get any issue with it. I have the cslnm1 in my L21B and haven't had any issues. I'm looking forward to seeing the lumen output for the M1 with the SFT40. If the driiver is really up to 5.6A it's going to give that emitter a nice boost. I recently got the M21B with the SFT40 and that one is driven at 8A. It's a little beast. I believe the M1 and M21B have the same head.
Thank you my friend I appreciate your comment 🙏 I do have the M1 sft40 on its way should be here today, I will definitely test it and compare it to the osram.
@johna2193 I also have the M21B w/ SFT40, the big brother to the M1. The head is a little longer/wider(21700 battery?)on the M21B, but they share the same bezel and reflector. The hole at the base of the reflector varies according to the LED. I agree with you, that M21B is a killer, it out throws both my Acebeam L17 and Sofirn IF22A! Another possible match-up for the channel.
@@smotheredchrome The flashlight is 2inches long. I got mine in brass. Extra long extension and bigger battery. I think everything was about $55 if I remember. You can get aluminum for around $35 on Ali I think.
The GT line is awesome The micro throws 800m on paper and that thing is tiny just insane how they pull that off on the gt series, there big one also throws some crazy numbers.
@@smotheredchrome Ali is having a sale until the 29th I think. $15 off $100 $40 off $220. I'm getting myself some Christmas gifts!! It pays to stay single!! More money less drama!!
My new favourite throwy LED. I think they throw further than SFT40s!

I have the sft40 version on the way, I will definitely compare them.
Thanks for the info I appreciate it 🙏
Catapult more concentrated beam
seems slightly more throwy than the rest
But they all pretty similar
All pretty good whichever one you get👍
Thank you Thor I appreciate your comment 🙏
I recommend the Wuben e6 with osram. It's a small, little flashlight,it packs a punch. It uses 14500 and regular AA batteries. Good video comparison.
Thank you I appreciate your comment 🙏
I will look into the wuben e6 sounds interesting Thank you.

@@speedbrknek Right! I meant the reflector. I should have been more specific.

I saw big head thrower on Ali with this same led they claim it goes 2000 meters. A brand I never heard of Kensun. $73. They call it NM1.
I have noticed a lot of new brands popping up with name brand emitters.
I have a C8 with CSLNM1 it does not seem really bright compared to some, it does throw though.
Thank you I appreciate your comment 🙏
Yes very throwy
My smallest thrower is Lumintop GT nano. Throws 3 football fields.
That's definitely some good throw for a small sized light.

Thank you I appreciate the info, it's definitely a good deal if you plan on picking up some lights.
I wonder how the M2 compares?
Yeah I was wondering the same, look kinda similar and about the same price.
hey brother send me that lumintop light please and thank you lol
