I don’t know if Willie will ever get this. I just want to say my first concert was Willie and Family back somewhere, I’m thinking 79-81. Lake Tahoe , Harrahs Showroom. I was 10or12. I fell in love with Bobbie and the harmonica that day. I can’t say the Blue Devil didn’t impress me that day either. I’ve gone many directions musically but Willy will never leave my memory. Always a fan.
Why were so many great, great singers born in the '30s, '40s, and '50s! I just discovered them this pandemic time on youtube.. Alas!, many of them are already dead! Thank you, youtube for uploading...

One of us has to look and sound like our dad. I'm the youngest of 4 boys, I just happen to be one of them guys. But I am a musician which my dad wasn't. He was a hard core military man for 32 years. USN CW04. R.I.P. DAD. But he Introduced me to Willie and country and classical.

When I was little my Mom used to put your tape on, it would play both sides and I would listen as long as I could before I fell asleep. It gave me such comfort in your voice and melodies. I saw you couple years ago in Bethel Woods for Farm Aid. Thank you Willie and thank you fellas for keeping it going.

This harmony is absolutely beautiful. You cannot get closer harmony than family. I have always loved Willie's voice and unique timing, let alone his guitar playing. It us such a blessing to be able to hear him and his sons sing this beautiful love song from "The Red Headed Stranger".
I cannot explain this, I never was... I´m not American, didn´t grow up in the US although lived there for 15 years in my 20s... this song and Blue Eyes Cryin´ in the Rain make me choke up and cry like a baby. Almost, like bringining back memories from another life, I swear! I love you, Willie!!!
