Mahuli Fort at 2815 ft, is a popular trekking destination and a paradise for rock climbers because of many nearby pinnacles with interesting names like Vazir, Vishnu, etc., given by the local trekking and climbing fraternity. This mountain complex is actually a group of two or more hills with common cols and pinnacles.
Asangaon is the closest station to mahuli, We went by bike & i will suggest the same as you will be able to find Rickshaw & Bus while going from station but while come back it's a struggle.
Diverse wildlife many reptiles like snake & Lizards along with Lots of crabs & bird species are also found here.

Hi brother. Can you make a video on how to judge the clouds while or before trekking ? I mean which cloudy weather is dangerous for trekking and which clouds are safe for trekking ? How to guess if there is lightning or not in the way ? And how to stay safe in clouds ?? Pls do the needful soon.. waiting..

Hey dude sorry to tell you but fort is closed for trekking due to couple of accidents this season at Lonavala, Fort will be closed until September or until further notice from authorities.
when it opens best is to go with your own vehicle, if you planning to go by train closest station is Asangaon station, Just outside station you will find sharing auto rickshaw also buses are available for more in depth details checkout my trail here trell.co/trail/mahuli-2018-my-first-official-monsoon-trek-a441177f648e
