After the last three years it must be such a wonderful feeling to have so many bales done and socked away already for the critters. Real glad to see it.
Amen. Maybe even leave the machine wrecking ditch hay alone this year!
It's so much fun to watch as you and your dad make improvements to your livestock management systems. New feeder bunks, concrete pads, these will make your work so much more productive. Thanks for sharing your work.
Uncle Jeff doing ok he usually helps out on these days. I know none of my business. God bless uncle Jeff.
We need more Jeff
It's awesome seeing that you're able to get plenty of hay this year. Hope the crops do just as good. 🚜🚜🚜
Cole, I just want you to know how I appreciate all the camera angles you give us! I know it takes time, and it is really appreciated! Also, the drone shots give us a great perspective of the actual area you're farming. Little Sonny has given a new pep in Ellie's step. My Dad gave our pup an 8" piece of field tile to chew on. He'd play for hours with it, tossing it the air and chewing on it. Thanks for great vlogs Cole, you and your Dad are appreciated!
I’m glad Elli got herself a puppy.
Ellie may not think so all the time
Did you know Corgy's are a cattle herding dog? When Ellie and Sonny were playing chase, Sonny did the Corgy herding move which is getting under the cow away from the hooves and snap up and nip at the cow to get it to move. Did you see him try to get under Ellie and nip at her. TOTAL cow Corgy.
Thanks for sharing this great video. The aerial images are terrific and offer a perspective seldom seen. Wishing you and your family a blessed week filled with gentle seasonally appropriate weather. Peace brother
Big hay, big water, big beef just another big day on Sonne Farms.
Cole, after that basket, the TractorNBA is calling 😮
Those drone shots are great. So glad to see some production this year for you.
No matter what comes your way, you are blessed to have such beautiful land. Love the drone shots.
Cole a buddy of mine that ranches in northern Alberta has nearly an identical setup however he placed all his cattle rigging and shutes on Oil Rig mats. They’re straight, solid and work like a champ.
I recommend more concrete on the inside where you stand. You will be stepping and tripping over the edge. Do the whole entire interior area. It may cost a little bit more, maybe a yard of concrete, but will be worth not tripping and stopping all the weeds growing where you have to work.
God bless you Cole and your family and Hod bless Dad Brian and your Mom and all your family.Thank you for sharing everything.God bless you all.Love your Mom’s Hollyhock flowers they are beautiful.
Nice batch of bales Take care stay safe
Love watching these videos, and thinking back to your videos from last year, and how you were so concerned about getting enough hay... and having to buy hay. This year you are blessed with an abundance of moisture, and the hay crop is amazing! So very happy for you!
I always fine the drone shots with the music so relaxing. Can’t explain it but I do.
Watching you and your Dad haying and planting etc. is so relaxing for me. Keep showing the videos please.
Thank you Sonne farms!
Awesome footage of the work on the fields with the hay. Farm land is just so beautiful and your very good with cameras and drones Cole. ❤❤
Just wanted to say how much we all really appreciate what you’re doing ❤ Thank you for taking us along your life’s journey ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Thanx, as always, for the fantastic drone footage. AND JUST LOOK AT THAT SKY!
Thanks again!
Especially love the drone shots. Your music selection is very relaxing.
Just saying… your channel makes me smile. Thank you, your dad and your puppies.
You are so kind
You guys work so much I hope one time you and Brian do a video of life away from work to see the things you really enjoy doing.. thanks for sharing always interesting and I learn a lot from you guys 👍🇺🇸
Farmer hobby is improving the farm
I love the way they call the cows “ladies.” 🥰
New puppy free entertainment
Love seeing all that hay, compared to last year. You are blessed. Congrats on the news of your little one on the way.
Thanks for another great video Cole and Brian. It was interesting and enjoyable to watch for sure.
Wow. Lots of hay bales to haul in out of the fields to the yards for feeding this winter. Takes a while but really nice hay. The drone footage is amazing too watch. Gives you a new perspective of the process. Thanks.
Moving your cattle processing equipment so you can put concrete under it will be a great improvement for you. You can work on a concrete base then and not mud. Lots easier to mow then and move the snow in the winter. Really nice project you two. Super improvement!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks again to your Tri State Chevrolet dealers for the one ton truck help to move bales. Super nice pickup!!!!!!!!!🛻
Good to see Sonny and Eli playing. Good dogs 🐶!!!!!!!!
Thanks for everything.
The Iowa farm boy. Steve.
I never knew that about replanting alfalfa. I’m glad you covered that as need to re-plant a 1.5 acre food plot of alfalfa I planted 3 years ago. You just saved me a bunch of $. Thank you 🤘
TWO! Nice shot into the burn barrel! This could become an Olympic competition. Another video with creative, entertaining camera placements. The footage from under the bale wagon is great! Your drone footage provides an excellent perspective on the big picture. Thanks
I’ve always said you need to mow pastures this CZcams channel might explain why ( just a few acres farm) all around the farm on a perfect midsummer day……. Not trying to be ignorant but I love your channel because of the quality of work and this might help or not but your smart enough to make the decision if this will help or not
Always a great video.
Feels good to see those bales stacking up Cole. Hope you have MORE than you need and weather is such that your supply will see you through. Again, the drone shots are MY joy. SO much graphical information in seeing the BIG picture like that. Watching you go down the road with a trailer load of bales I had a question. TIC
When Y'alls in South Dakota, where kin a feller drive a tractor, pullin a flatbed trailer with fourteen giant round bales on it, with two bales on front of the tractor, with NO problems??
Answer: Any dang place he wan'ts. He rightfully has the right of way!! Whether he kin see ya or not!! LOL My time in South Dakota was in the south east sector, in the early to mid 60's. I still have a severe love of Ponderosa pine in my heart. The Black Hills are super gorgeous to me. The trout always outsmarted me, but I did not care. Blessings on the Sonne family. Thanks again for great entertainment.
Nothing better than drone footage of hay season! 😊
Ditto!!
Dont be stingie with concrete -- once in lifetime cost -- 30 ft out from building -- sloped away so water from roof washes manure off concrete to drain you made 😊
With all that extra hay, y’all can buy some more mommas. Brian is a lot smarter than I am, last year I would have sold mine instead of buying hay at $80 a bale. Maybe this year will help ease the pains of the last few years with high prices and bumper hay crops
We had a dog that would open all the water bottles, none of them would have lids on them. ❤❤
awsome video cole thumbs up and shared
Thanks and GOD BLESS
I could watch your drone footage all day -- just love it❤
Awesome video . Great job. thank you Sonnes
I have been working so much and finally got time to binge watch me some Sonne frames. Life is good. Glad to see all the bales you all are getting. Congratulations on the up coming new member of the family
So awesome we can stream quality online content like Sonne Farms for free.
Nice shot Cole, even a blind squirrel gets a nut once in a while.
Concrete under the load out chute is gonna be a game changer.
You picked some nice soothing music to go with the soothing & quiet drone hay loading. It's like a tractor waltz but out in the hay field. So many people would love to farm like this . . . when there are no "problems" to deal with . . . just waltzing around. Have a grand day!!
Bring back Brian's song of the day l miss it ❤❤❤
Movie recommendations next?
Love the relaxing music 😊
Three point shot with that net wrap! Great hay harvest and video.
Great shot Cole 😉thanks again for the vid and drone footage ❤
The hole in one with the wrap roll. Priceless! Thanks for sharing ❤
Long time subscriber. What a difference in hay harvest compared to last year. NO DITCH HAY HARVEST NEEDED THIS YEAR, PRAYERS ANSWERED.
Thanks for the video.
You are welcome!
Gotta love a project.
G’job y’all, there’s no better feeling than being blessed with many bales. It’s about time that y’all caught a break. Take care guys 🇺🇸
Thanks Cole-My most favorite vid’s, drone with accompanying relaxing music! Good Job! Hope its not to hot doing concrete work!
After dropping the tube in the barrel, you better go get a couple of lottery tickets!! Your puppy is total cuteness overload ❤️❤️ So glad to see you getting so many bales from the SECOND cutting.
Any possibility you guys have counts of alfalfa and hay bales from last year and how many you have made so far this year? Also you haven’t done a review of your Mom’s garden this year? Stay safe and God Bless!
First thank you! It was always my understanding that young alfalfa plants have less toxin . Replant less than a year.
This is what Andy does as well. Farming fixing fabricating.
I’m guessing it must be different you’re that much more north than I am. But I thought Andy was further north than you.
Thank you for the clarification! Appreciate channel very much God bless
Cole, when you reset the Arrowquip, can you raise it off the concrete a little so you can hose out the crud and mud? Just a thought!
It's amazing how many tons of hay can be moved with those big round bales. The concrete will be a great improvement for you guys.
Yet more hay, but you can never have too much. Useful for feeding more bovine or for some hardcore cash!
Can’t wait for some more concrete work. I always enjoy being along for the ride
Thanks for the video
Thank you!
That was great set. with your Mom . Always though you Hatch!!!!!!!
Excellent job. Love to see all the hay....no worries this coming winter. Also love seeing that little 321F....she's really earning her keep around there.
Nailed the trick shot AND got it on camera! Awesome!
Song of the day," Hay maker" by Eric Burgett.
When is Brian going to do the song of the day? I miss his worldly enlightenment with the song of the day. Bring back Brian's song of the day. And that's all I got to say about that 😂.
Maybe you need a ball hitch on the bale wagon so you don’t have to get out and hitch up. Great job you are doing on your videos. I might have missed it, did you ever reveal sex of the new addition to your family and congratulations. Thanks again.
Having watched for a while, knowing you've had to buy in years past, are you all ahead of past year hay production? I sure do hope so as it is always something I worry about to make sure I have enough throughout the months that there is no pasture to graze or hay to be cut.
cole, your bales are nicely grouped, the ones from the red baler are scattered all over, lots of extra miles to collect them! the green baler saves a lot of miles on the tractor.
That lil pupper is def growing even for a corgi. Also I’m guessing the music you use for the drone footage is stock music but I always enjoy the calming effect it has on me.
Thanks Cole for the video. I have a thought or a suggestion and that is all it is. I was wandering if it was posable to hook the two put type hay trailer together for maxim bale hauling . Love the videos keep up the great work.
I should think it would be too hard to control in and our of the fields, and too heavy. Each one of those bales is probably close to 1K lbs.
Hi to all three of you guys from Indiana
Invest in a transit Cole, it will make the things you guy's are doing much easier.
Good Afternoon Gentlemen, My Wife Donna is your biggest fan in Richton Park, Illinois has a question.... What happened to SONG OF THE DAY ??? What's going on at Storla Station ??? We pray for your family's and those BEAUTIFUL ANGUS just waiting for my FORK !!!
Song of the day was getting old. Storla station is still going strong. Thanks for your comments!
CannaDip 🌿 is a farmers Best Friend!!
Corgi has really taken to the farm!
I thought for sure Cole was going to say "nothing but net" when he got that tube in first try.
you should be my writer
❤ from Norway
Great video. Beautiful drone footage. God Bless.
I like the way Mike from our Wyoming like ( mike is nolonger on owl)placed hay bales,3/2/1 it makes a wind brake plus half the hay is off the ground
Yeah, I think you’d be able to see where that system was for sure lol great job on the hanging. Looking forward to watching you guys. Get that concrete poured for that for sure. Looking forward to seeing that new grain bin go up to thanks.
Grader trailor? Nice road work !! Oh don’t forget to put a roof over the work area 👍👍be nice for sure. Thanks COLE
I would agree with the pour yourself a nice pad where the picnic table sits. Also plan on for the future, maybe putting in a nice bit of shade over your table. Like a pergola. You could hang a fan, tv, outdoor bar…..ok I am getting carried away, but seriously, while you have it torn out, just do it. No regerts.
Every thing is looking great Cole & Brian . Hope when time to sell @ the cattle auction the prices are reflecting the same same in the
$$$$$
Have you ever looked at one of the Fodder systems to help feed the cattle? For some reason it’s been all over my CZcams. Looks like one of the companies is in your state
I enjoy this year's hay harvest vidio I didn't care to watch the ditch hay struggles i hope you don't have to resort to the ditch ever again
Great! I fell so professional thanhk you for your video. Love you❤
Nice job Cole. pilots gettin big fast. Nice bale haul.pretty cool on the second harvest. I feel bad for the flooded acres.
Does my heart good seeing you guys bringing in all of that hay for this winter. Not like last year ..hhaaa? Another shot of rain would get that 3rd cutting going. To bad about the drowned out stuff but like you said that can be reseeded in time. So far so good for a abundant harvest this fall. You guys could use one also.
…I loved loading bales! Enjoy Cole…..
🇺🇸🇨🇱
Love that little dog!
The additional concrete will be very very nice. Please don’t skip on the width. Now is the time to do it correctly. Might think about putting some conduit under the concrete
Might be nice to have some electrical outlets on the off side of the shoot some time. Your call. Trying to think ahead.
Spray Paint v Flag markers? WATER hydrant lines run??
Love those pups!
Those pedestrians never move for heavy equipment 😂
That will make it extremely handy having an apron around the chute 👍
5:20 KOBE!!
