Chandler Parsons goes ballistic in the Houston Rockets game against the Memphis Grizzlies on 1/24/2014, scoring 30 points in the second half by hitting 10 straight three-pointers. Parsons set an NBA record for most threes in a half. He also set the Houston Rockets franchise record for most threes in a game, passing Robert Horry and Jeremy Lin (who both hit 9 threes in a game). Parsons also tied the franchise record for most consecutive threes with 10. Kenny Smith also did that, but he did it over multiple games. - Sport

I think for his size and position he's above average at other things as well, I get his 3-point shot is most of his game but I appreciate other things he does for this team. I think he's above average on defense (not saying he's great) which this team really needs, I think he's a good ball handler for his size and position, and usually makes the right decision to either pass or shoot, which is one of the most important things to me. I like his rebounding and passing too.

Man, even though the Rockets picked up Trevor Ariza... they lost the guy that helped get them Dwight Howard and one of their better offensive assets in Chandler Parsons. I think Houston really lost this offseason rather than won. They traded away Lin and Asik and Parsons left being offered a max deal with the Mavs, and Houston couldn't grab Bosh.
