I got goosebumps because I clearly remember being 5 years old in the 70s and Looking at the sole of my plimsoll as I sat crossed legged in the tv room at school. Now I thought " the pattern of the sole of my plimsoll looked like a brain and that I had a brain and I knew how to use it". That little thought has always stuck with me and is more relevant to today than ever before. God bless you ian brown you are amazing and a true truther. Your music brings such joy to my spirit.

I knew Ian way back in the day when we used to play around Frieston Park, Walton Park and the Bridgewater Canal on the borders of Sale and Timperley, In fact John Squire was responsible for me losing my job in Pemberton's Bike Shop on Washway Rd. I passed two very cool continental cycling team tops under the counter to him. A couple of days later, his Dad came to the shop and informed Mr Pemberton of what I'd done, long story short - end of job, plus a massive bollocking for me from my Dad! Cheers Mr Squire!!

Not gonna happen. The roses are done now apparently. They never flat out said they were done back in the 90s. They just sort of disappeared. Where as this time around, When they The Roses did their last concert in Glasgow, Ian said “Don’t Be Sad Cause It’s Over. Be Happy It Happened.”
