My colour cartridge is in good condition with filled colour,even then colour light blinks,but when I install back and white colour even if it is not in good condition it doesn't blinks.Please help me bro,

when I click print it gets in the and then stops, the paper insertion light starts to blink and upon clicking it, the paper goes through and comes out blank
Just take the color cartilage out and just used black. Worked for me doing that

Trying to set up my 2652 printer. The light (2nd button with an arrow facing down) is blinking orange. What does that mean and what is that button for? Thank you!

okay so what happened: my printer had one line of tricolor and black ink, but when i printed the colors were really off (black turned blue, pink turned green etc) when i tried taking them out and putting them back in, the tricolor ink started blinking its orange light.i took both inks out, cleaned with distilled water the inside of the printer, got new ones. i have not put the new ones in yet, so the printer has no ink inside now, but the tricolor ink light is still blinking. should i just go ahead and put the new ink in?
p.s. we have the printer hp deskjet 2630, and it looks exactly like the one in your video

I agree, i have so many HP printers that are faulty and unable to get results from them.
When the low ink light will blink follow my steps
- Press power button and x button at same time for 5 sec
- Load 2 Pages
- Successfully printer ink level is reset

This solution also worked for me. I followed the virtual assistant instructions.
1. leaving the printer on
2. unplug power cord
3. wait for a full 60 seconds
4. plug power cord back in,
5. Printer should automatically turn on. If not, turn it back on.
6. Done. Cartridge error should stop blinking.

Hello. I have the HP Deskjet 2710. This printer is compatible for BOTH 305 & 305XL ink cartridges. I had the stock Cartridges(305)- which came with the printer. Then i replaced them with the 305XL. That orange light stays on my printer. It wasn't there before. And the 305XL is supposed to be compatible. I just want the light to be OFF. Can you help, Sir?
Try remove cartridge and reinstall.
Ive just bought a brand new 2724 printer haven't used it yet and it says cartridge jam?? Also are the cartridges supposed to be loud goes side to side really loud? Please help if you can
It can make loud sound but it should not say cartridge jam. If its not working then you need to replace the printer as its faulty.

Well, what happens when you've already changed the ink, and the printer is printing out fine then all a sudden the light is flashing saying there is no ink. It does not make any sense since i changed my ink 5 days ago and printed maybe 15 pages since and now its flashing showing i have no ink left. Shouldn't I still have ink left? I haven't even used the tri color I've only been printing in black and white. I'm not sure what is wrong.

What do you do if you only want to use black ink. Do you still have to replace the color cartridge?
You can just install the black. You can keep colour side empty.

You have to do it in print window in laptop. Select the size in setting there. Thats only thr way to correct it.

@@jessicagar2082 I am about to follow the recommendations of the previous poster and blow this garbage printer up. All of my lights are blinking too and the scan dr did not help and the HP app says there arent any errors found. What a JOKE!

also I JUST REPLACED my color cartridge and it is still saying empty and light is blinking.
It may be some special error. Switch off printer and unplug wire for 10 min and switch on again. Then remove ink and clean print head and install aagain.

The orange light is on letter I (information). What does that mean and what can I do? The printer is only two months old, and it doesn't print. none of these work it took me 4 days to get my hp printer to work ......1st go direct to hp website to get the hp smart menu where you select what you want to do pijn it to start menue .........now you need to make sure everything is set up the settings button in that smart software is where you go!
ok after i went through it there was a problem couldnt finsh becuse of error behold my net work name was wrong
scrooleed down to find right name then input the password which is on your router and other stuff ... then it weell tell you to press the info button on your printer to get them the printer info ......... 1st print came out with two on same page i grunted said i'll smash this thing with a hammer LOL second print worked ...o yes you will now see a diifernt print mode to select instead of the one drive or microsoft pdf it's called hold on it froze on me ....HPCD0518(HP DESKJET 2700 series)

Your printer needs new ink cartridges. That should fix the problem.

Clean the print heads and reinstall ink again. That may help. Or reset the printer and install ink.

I HAVE plenty of black and color ink! I have tried ALL these tips with NO results. Have been on this MOST of my day! Can you tell I'm a bit frustrated?? All I'm trying to do is to get this darn orange (i) light to stop blinking so I can print! Is this asking for too much, HP??? Hi, I can understand your frustration. Sometime s issue may be minor but needs to be fixed. The orangle light can be linked to low Ink cartridge, but as you said ink is there. I suggest to remove the ink cartridges then switch off the printer. Unplug the power cable. Remove all papers. Then plug in power cable and restart it. Install ink cartridges and see if that works. If not use your phone and install HP Smart App. Check what issues it says in the app. Then fix it.

If its original Ink cartridge then it should work. Check if its installed properly and if the seal is removed before installing.

Dear sir , i changed the coloured ink but now no red color only yellow and blue !!!
Try to clean print head. If that works thats good or may be its internal issue of the cartridge.
This icon is always blinking, when i check tri_colored cartridge using white tissue, it Shows that ink is still much inside!

You can in some instances press cancel or okay and ignore this blinking yellow exlamation mark light (like ifyour color cartridges are empty) and the printer will still work and print. !@#$% After I found that out after 3 years, I was like, are you serious. WTF. I put a piece of tape over the DMMN light.

Hi there, if you’re interested I’m looking into opening a class action lawsuit agains HP. I tied to get a full refund for my printer which is still within warranty but they refuse to refund me for the TOTAL amount I paid. There’s already several Class Action Lawsuits agains HP … im sure it won’t be hard to open an other one.

I think the starter ink cartridges are about to finish as they are always low in ink. You need to buy new ink cartridges.

Not helpful at all, I have been refilling my cartridges and it works just fine. My problem is whenever I put back the black cartridge then the tri color starts blinking and will stop working untill I remove it
