I loved Ultimate Tenkaichi for what it was. The second Game is going to have to make vast improvements though now that the foundations down. The soundtrack was definitely my favorite in any DBZ game though for sure.
The rock paper scissors part is understandable be cause when u are fighting in real life u dont know what ur opponent is gonna do i think it is a good game
While that's somewhat a good point, a real part of fighting is much like learning a fighting game. You start off not knowing what they'll do next, but eventually you learn what works best and you can better predict and react to certain movements. That is entirely nonexistent in this game
Well I don't think this is a good point at all, this is just an easy excuse for the barebones gameplay The "you never know what's your opponent is going to do next" is better applied in the other Tenkaichi games anyways where the opponent could actually mix you up and feint you with heavy attacks and it involved way more than a single button press deciding a 50/50 scenario Hell, in fighting games, there is several ways a fight can play out due to the sheer numbers of possibilities and differences beetween characters in actual gameplay. In Ultimate Tenkaichi, since everyone plays the same and you're limited to situations where you need to guess beetween two possibilities, you actually get way more opportunities to counter your opponent

yea, thats what we all want but we unfortunately arent the creators of dbz games. we all would want to see cell demolish vegeta into smitherines but they dont make the games that way.

so basically.. DBZanto did 49 episodes( battles) ... for an "average" gamer, they could take like 5 mins for battle.. 49x5= 254 minutes.. thats equal to Almost 4 hours of gameplay from the story mode ( if u skip the texting and stuff)... well... thats kinda short i guess... they skipped a lot of battles...

It wouldnt work, im fine with no blood, or a tad in cinematics is fine for me, they just need to take parts from each game.

I wanna see Cell deteriorating from Gohan's Kamehameha after Trunks got blasted thru the chest, all while not taking away from the gameplay. I want a button for punches and a button for kicks, not this 'single button melee combo for every character to be the same' bullshit. I want to see original ultimate moves that distinguish characters from each other, but no, instead we get this half-assed rehashed kiddy garbage. Thanx @dbzanto for uploading because I don't even think this is worth my time.
@buhlayke C'mon man, you know it would be awesome to cut someone in half with a Destructo Disk or shoot a Special Beam Cannon thru someone's chest for a final blow. DBZ is well known around the world, so I'd imagine that there are fans of all ages. If a game has good features and gameplay then it would attract more people to the game, not just die-hard fans. I know people 18+ that still like Pokemon; and how many kids play CoD? Alot, so even tho it's rated 'M' kids will probably still play it.
@skitz241 Yeah, it is a bit of a kid's show. Where characters go to hell or die in some inhumane way. The only thing that made it childish was the Japanese humor, really.

I would agree that it's a better competitive game but I enjoy BT3's 160 playable characters and free roam fighting a lot more
