- Many thanks to owner David Zoll for allowing me to shoot this bit of video at the awesome Acoustic Corner, in Black Mountain, North Carolina. David introduced me to the Eastman line of acoustic guitars. The REALLY sound big - possibly the best sound projection I've encountered in guitars of this price range. If you are ever in Black Mountain, stop by and check them out for yourself at David's store. Here's the web link: acoustic-corne...
You can't beat a good local music store. The staff are always passionate about their jobs and definitely knowledgeable.
EASTMAN used to be the best kept secret in the guitar world so I was lucky to buy a bunch before the prices really went up on some models. Having said that, the E1 and E2 series are still very affordable AND the best money can buy in terms of sound and build quality. This being said as a guy that owns many Martins, Collings, Taylor's...GO EASTMAN!
Good to know that a good store can still thrive today. Congrats David.
That E8OM sounded beautiful, it's going to be my next acoustic purchase to complement my AC308CE Ltd.
Eastman acoustic and electric are simply gorgeous, beautifully made and just feel great in the hand. They make you want to play! Bang for buck it doesn't get any better.
I also have an AC308CE as my first Eastman, and I’ve been looking for an OM or GA to complement it, so I really appreciate this comment!
Jammin with other customers is fun if you ask me. I've made a couple of pretty good friends that way. A few years ago, I went to get some new strings and of course I have to take a guitar off the wall, because that's what people do, right? Anyways, a young guy started jamming with me, and it sounded good to. Then hour or so later, we were still at it and some lady came by and started singing! hahaha... We got a couple of claps from the odd customer that wandered by now and then. He and I jammed for a few hours, until it was time for the store to close. I'll never forget it as long as I live. Man it was just pure fun.
I was playing at Gruhn guitar in Nashville once, and a guy started jamming with me. We played for probably 30 minutes without me even turning to look at the guy. I thought, this guy is pretty excellent. When we finally paused and looked at each other it was the bass play for Alabama (Teddy Gentry). I thought that was really cool.
Great looking shop! Room to move around! An actual place to sit too! Hallelujah there is hope! Semper Fi
Awesome, comment Thanks brother.
Nice Video about a terrific place. David is very helpful, with a nice selection of instruments!
I bought an e20-om and it is lovely
Hello tony thanks for sharing happy Thanksgiving 🦃🦃🦃
Great video on Eastman guitars, I saw first Eastman about 4 years ago, since that time, I have bought 4 of their models E -6D , E-6OM , E-20 D aged top, the E-20 D sounds like a cannon, also a Eastman E-10SS , they are all great guitars 🎸 good to see Music Stores still around, it's about a thing of the past, hope your business does well, great video Folks ,THANKS.
i have the pch2gace and it sounds amazing. After a few weeks it started to open up to me and it sounds amazing.
I bought a E1D for £512 🇬🇧 it's a ridiculously good acoustic the finish on it is just amazing and it's sweet and loud to
My nephew loves that store. I gotta get up there. I see one of those in my future too!
I'd love to have that higher-priced one. The one for $500+ is really superb though. Really feels A LOT like a Martin. Just crazy, the quality you can get for a good price these days.
I bought an E8D (solid sitka/rosewood) about 8 months ago. It had a $1,245 tag on it, but I bought it for $1,045. The manager gave me the discount because it supposedly had some buckle scratches on the back. I polished it up when I got home and they dissappeared!😊
I currently own three Eastman acoustic guitars and an Eastman 515V mandolin. I love the Eastmans I currently own. When I play my E10D at bluegrass jams I get asked often it its a pre-war Martin D18, if I leave my clampon tuner covering the brand mane on its headstock.
I just bought the E2-OM and love it. What an awesome instrument for the bucks. Just excellent. And yes - you could fool someone pretty easily into thinking some of those models are Martins.
Hi Tony, I hope that you are ok. Please post another video soon hopefully of the construction of Blue Ridge Morganton. Thanks have a great day.

We have a nice store like that here in Augusta Maine called Musicians first choice,, great people ..if you are in the area stop in..I’m just a customer..bought a few guitars from the ,,
I beg to differ guys but I just got an Eastman E3 DE and was very disappointed,if you’re going Chinese, there are the Guild solids
Or solid tops and of course the great Sigma brand-and cheaper too! Rod in London
Sorry, but the sound on my PC is not great. Can anyone let me know which three models are being played? thank you
Meanwhile, Martin keeps adding plastic to the D-28.
Nice video
Many thanks!
Do they have any 12 strings over there?
I don’t recall seeing a 12 today, but I’ve bought one there before.
They are great guitars! Video would have been better without all that chatter in the background - - -
About the chatter - wish you had been there to tell them to STFU.
I wish they’d put subtitles on this, can’t understand a word there saying.
