Imagine this:
Aokiji is surrounded, enemies flanking him on all sides. They charge. The moment they get within striking distance, Aokiji let’s out a two solitary *chilling* words. “Ice Field.” Suddenly it’s entirely still. Aokiji bends down and picks up his coat. He begins walking forward. The camera pans out to reveal every enemy within 10 meters is a frozen statue. “Don’t worry. They’ll live if you warm ‘em up right. Careful not to drop ‘em.” He walks through the rest of the Pirates unimpeded, gets on his bike, and rides off.
The scary thing is he could do this in canon if he wants to and not just with fodder he could do this with doffy level characters

Hey Tekking, physicist here. Like you said the concept of "cold" in term of heat is the molekular movement of everything. Whitebeards quakes are physical vibrations, so if Kuzans fruit makes it cold enough he could overpower him. At the absolut cold point (0K or - 273°C) he would litterally stop everything (like in Bleach). I guess if he trained enough he could achieve it. What actually happens at 0K is kind of difficult, but the concept of "nothing can move" is good enough. No power in this universe can move stuff in this state, wich would actually makes Kuzan the most powerfull character, because what do you want to do about that Akainu? You are dead at that point.

engineer here, whitebeard's quakes would introduce vibration energy into the system, which could turn into heat energy (the principle microwave ovens work), which wouldn't let Aokiji reach absolute zero unless Aokiji absorbs energy faster than Whitebeard can produce it.

@@Sakaralchini Shouldn't be too much guess work. Cold temperatures are achieved by removing energy from a system and heating is the introduction of energy. The advantage would be towards the later since the second law of thermodynamics is in you'r favor.

Im from Japan and think the reason why it is chilly chilly fruit rather than ice ice fruit is probably because of the Japanese name of the fruit.there is no word that means ice in Japan that rhymes in the classic way that oda makes, like gomu-gomu or hobi-hobi. if it was ice ice fruit it was going to be "koori koori fruit ". and that doesn't sound how he makes the names.

@@Fenix00070 I think it has to do with the number of syllables. For every devil fruit we've seen, that I can recall, the names always have two syllables. ie "go-mu", "ho-bi" and as Tekking kind of improperly pronounces "hi-e". Meanwhile the word for ice is three syllables "ko-o-ri"

Yeah it’s usually 2 syllables vs the three that is こ-お-り. I’ve been taking Japanese for 2 years so I’m pretty proud of myself for recognizing that. (I’m not very good though)

So, The Magma-Fruit and the Ice-Fruit are very well matched, unlike you always view it. Because Thermodynamics
Magma conducts heat was easier than Ice, meaning Magma will cool off faster than Ice will heat up,
that difference is such a big difference so that -200° Ice and 1500°C Magma will reach "normal" temperatures about the same time
think sword casting, that sword cools off almost instantly in that water,
while really cold Ice would last a while, even when thrown into lava

I was about to explain how Aokiji could freeze vibrations, by dropping the air to absolute zero, but then you did. Right after saying you didn't know how it made sense. Apparently without realizing.
So as far as we can tell, absolute zero cant be achieved. People can get close to it, But its never been done. Now as for zero point energy, think of it like this. Quantum systems fluctuate as a baseline, they are always changing and moving. So the closer to absolute zero you get the slower classical mechanics become. Think Newtons laws of motion and such. It becomes a little more clear if you use energy instead of temperature. The hotter something is the more energy it has, the colder it is the less energy it has in it. Now because of the uncertain nature of quantum mechanics all quantum systems produce waves, or energy at their lowest points. This guarantees motion even at absolute zero. This motion creates zero point energy which is constantly bombards electrons which in turn keeps the electron from reaching absolute zero. Thats the best way i can describe it. :)

Hancock was the third strongest warlord. She took out like 3 pacifista with easy attacks during the war.
She also has Haki, which I think is easy to forget because Oda didn't do the blackened limbs for Haki before the time skip. So she's got more power to her then just her Devil Fruit, at least.
If Mihawk is the strongest and hancock is the third. Who's the second?

25:04 I think Boa Hancock is criminally underrated because of how she is depicted in non-cannon movies. Even Sengoku acknowledged her strength. Pre-timeskip she was able to casually take out pacifistas with a single kick, which took the ENTIRE straw hat crew to BARELY take out 1 (granted Luffy, Zoro, Sanji could do the same post-timeskip). This means that she would easily be able to destroy Crocodile at that point in the story, since 30 million beri bounty Luffy was able to solo him (after 3 tries).
She also has all 3 types of haki, and she is also able to combine her armament haki with her devil fruit to turn people she hits into stone, which is quite devastating in my opinion. (Awakening maybe?) Regardless to do that she is clearly a master of armament haki and her devil fruit powers. After all, the Kuja are famous for their armament haki. Her armament haki is probably even better than Luffy's. We also know Hancock and her sisters have some sort of connection to Rayleigh, maybe he trained them in the past?
I don't know how she compares with Doflamingo or the other warlords, but the point of this long rant is by NO means is she weak. I'm tired of seeing so many people look down on her. In a 1v1 she might even be able to give Dofi a run for his money. If I were to group the warlords by strength, I'd say the weakest are [Moriah, Crocodile], then [Blackbeard (warlord not yonko), Jimbei, Law, Hancock] (these 4 are really close), then [Kuma, Dofi, Weevil], and the strongest are obviously Mihawk, and Buggy at the top.

Crocodile is Logia so the only way she could defeat him is if he had lustful thoughts toward her. Or she can get in a good hit on him with armament but I would say it's a draw at most. Crocodile is no joke.
( by draw I mean that she wins 50℅ of the time)
In conclusion, Boa is not a top tier Warlord and has all the credit she deserves.

What you probably mean by this weird looping around behaviour is negative Kelvin temperatures. 0 Kelvin is no energy ( absolute zero), anything with energy has a positive Kelvin value, but how does this negative Kelvin work(How can something have negative energy?). Without going into too much detail, thermodynamics works so that warm will flow to cold. So illustrated with arrows "

I hope people realize Kuzan can go beyond absolute 0. If the temperature were to drop to absolute 0 it is possible to freeze a human body solid but it would take a considerable amount of time. Kuzan does it instantly in which case one can surmise his powers are a lot more terrifying then we give him credit for

This video got me thinking about physics in relation to one piece and I realized that fujitoras gravity powers would in a round about physics way let him speed up or slow down time let me explain gravity can bend time the same way it can bend space an example of this can be seen in an experiment in which one atomic clock was placed at sea level and the other was placed on top of a mountain (gravity on the mountain top would be lower) after a couple months the clock on the mountain was showing a time a thousandth of a second behind the one on sea level so this got me thing if in a fight fujitora lowered the gravity he experienced would this cause him to experience time slower then his opponents and give him an advantage

So for your education: it is impossible simply because of Heisenbergs uncertanty equations, which say that you can either now the location or the speed of an elektron/atom. Both had to be possible if the elektron is stationary and not moving at 0K, therefore it is impossible. But we can reach stupidly cold temperatures like 99,99999% of 0K 😊

So Zexal that’s not exactly correct, the “burning” sensation you get when you touch dry ice is actually the freezing of the skin cells (the temperature of dry ice is -78 degrees C) and the effects are very very similar to burns due to high temperatures

it doesn't seem like logias can actually control their element, they can create it it seems, like akainu creating magma, or aoikji making or, or crocodile making sand, but when it comes to controlling ice/sand/magma, that's already detached from their body it doesn't seem like they have any real power over that.

11:08 molecules and the atoms they are composed of are always in motion; however, as the temperature approaches absolute zero, this motion slows, and theoretically if the temperature ever reached absolute zero, all movement would completely cease... a couple of ideas come to mind here. Idea A: perhaps Aokiji was attempting to stop the quakes by freezing them, which could be possible if he could reduce the temperature of the source of the quakes to absolute zero.
