It has to be done with a pure heart otherwise it won’t be accepted as ego came into it. Us Sikhs shouldn’t do these things expecting things. We do this freely just to show love and remind us we’re all one when we’re dining together of other faiths we can get humbled which are qualities that are to be cherished.

But in punjab when our driver was a sikh uncle,at every point when the owner of those areas were asking money,the sikh uncle himself paid money everytime he did not ask money to my father
