One of the best verses in hip hop that most people will never hear
i saw you on other logic videos you definitely have taste
True 💯
609k views bro that’s a lot
ONE OF THE HARDEST BRO
Purest verse I’ve heard in a long whiles
Cole sent this to logic at 4 am in the morning as a voice message
That's one hell of a voice
is this true? lol
@@adelmoricardo7745 yes
INSANITY
jesus thatś why it sounds a bit dry but damn it still hits though and why tf is he spitting fire at 4 am lmao itś still fucking dark
this single track is like an entire summary of logic's career
Cole is the Goat.
His verse was so impactful to this whole album concept
I see you on every logic video. I love you bb
Flats ive seen him for a year now lol
Best song on the album
which album was this I heard everybody album over 10 times. This song isn't nowhere on the album is this a bonus track or...?
GMB creates was never released
Never heard a better more heart-felt verse from Cole. This is real hip hop authenticity
Max Oliver you haven't heard "Be Free (Live from Letterman)"? You must be joking, that was deeper than this one imo, I feel as if not enough people know about it, it really is one of Cole's deepest songs. Cole even said he would never sing it again because of how emotional it was.
Rick M. I wouldn't put one above the other.. both are extremely deep, and great examples of why Cole is the realist in this genre..
Raymond Scroggins don’t worry about my views , my subscribers or comments ,.. Just enjoy the song 👉🏽 czcams.com/video/KhpYtGxCWX8/video.html
Rick M. That might be because he was tired as hell in the morning and recorded it in his phone. It always makes songs seem better
They def not his most heart felt, you missed a lot of verses
When your voice memos sound better then some artist tracks, you're a goat.
Word
THE goat
factual.
Cough* bodies of work cough** lmao lemmes stop both truly great !!
I see why logic cried
When the fuck did that happen?
Sean Sanders Jr. it's on the last song on logics album
just saw that interview and i cried...shit, so deep
link for the interview ?
Merkseason got yuh fam lol
getting ''4 your eyez only'' vibes
“Are you running from something with hopes of becoming someone thats finally worthy of love ? Let me tell you now, you're worthy enough” shit man..
This song has immense meaning. To all the die hard fans you know exactly why it was written and I actually have become inspired by this. Accept yourself for who you are and if people don't like than stray away don't change for anyone regardless of the circumstances.
Why was it written?
Jancarlos Gomez there is a video where logic explains it but the gist of it is that j cole is logics idol and j cole wrote him a song because he was touched to hear the logic's career was influenced by his actions/music.
Epic Michael its bsd to lie
JohnnyG 221 it's not a lie
Epic Michael deep
One, two, three, four
One, two, three, four, listen
Look into my eyes
Tell me you could see beyond the smile that I'm puttin' on
This front that I'm puttin' up for you
I spill my soul into a microphone
With poems written in blood
In hopes that it's enough for you
Do you love me yet?
Do you love me yet?
No? Okay
I'll go harder for you
In fact, I rap till I collapse
All I wanted was acceptance, my latest lesson
I'll never feel your approval till I accept my own
Come from a messed up home, dest**ute and less informed
About the ways to raise a child up
To not become a product
Of his environment, I need to cry and vent
But I done built this wall up
Actin' like everything's all good
But in reality I'm lookin' for something
Through bumpin' my favorite rappers I came up after
Nas, Cole, and Hov
Eyes closed, I zone till five or so in the morn'
I'm used to being alone
Sh*t, you know how long I've been out on my own?
Chasing dreams, fantasies of a throne
One day I wake up and see that it didn't exist all along
Till then I will pen verses that fans consider brilliant
Boosting my ego with every million that spills in
And still then
I won't find solace, so where's the logic in that?
Worrying 'bout if they think Logic could rap
When it all goes back to a childhood, need to be loved
By parents that was in too deep with the drugs
N***a, my advice, f**k the black and white sh*t
Be who you are, identify as a star
No one tells you you're that
It's something that you just know
The world be stealing your glow
Your mama did what she could
Her life was miles from good
Your father fell in the trap
They set for you when you black
They met when they was low
And therefore you a product of that
And so your trauma is deep
Don't bury it you should weep
And clean it out of your system, then truly forgive 'em
Just my opinion, only then can you find peace
Just start to notice happiness don't come from album release
I've been through it before
Can only share with you what I know
To be true, but at the same time, I'll never be you
And you'll never be me, no matter how hard that you try
This is for youngins out there wondering how far you can fly
The truth is that you could go further than the stars and the sky
But if you want to then you ought to know why
Are you running from something
With hopes of becoming someone
That's finally worthy of love
Let me tell you now, you're worthy enough
F**k approval from strangers, that sh*t is dangerous as hell
Find God, learn to accept yourself
And I'm gone, accept Him
Damn.
The first part of the song is J. Cole talking from Logics perspective and the second part is J. Coles advice for Logic
"This is for youngers out there wonderin' how far you can fly, the truth is you can go further than the stars in the sky, but if you want to, then you are to know why. Are you running from something in hopes of becoming someone who is finally worthy to be loved, let me tell you now you're worthy enough, fuck approval from strangers that shit is dangerous as hell". Real shit
This verse helped so many more people than just Logic. This will be my first upload in months :)
This is pure rap... no auto tune, no edits, no sound booth,
just the truth
Bro logic doesn't want anyone to know about this. he wants the people and the fans to listen through the whole project to hear this
I think by now people already have listened to the whole album and have heard this
Cole's verse had already been shared on his channel.
just stating logic/cole's privacy. ¯\_ツ_/¯
everyone is going to know at one point so its okay🔥
Xotic messed up
J Cole never disappoints!
Jordy Sin ain't him tho, so the video disappoints.
Sinermox yes it is? Lol 😂
Anthony Romero no, it's Jermaine Lamarr Cole.
Sinermox thats j.cole
Anthony Romero yeah no shit, same person... Can you not see what I'm doing? SMH
When i heard this song made Logic cry. I had to hear it again and i get it.
It enforced that Logic favorite rapper listens to him more than he thought. Cause Cole didn't make up shit he touched on the shit Logic lingers on the most. Through song Cole hit him with a big brother to little brother moment. Nice.
King Daey this made me cry too, and I'm not even black. There's some aspects that were touched here that resounded with me more than they did to Logic. It's hard to explain, but it's a really deep, heart felt song.
all in one take as well, damn
Luke Thomas im saying!! GOAT .
The thing that made this powerful was two things:
J cole rapping about Logic with no drama, no aggressive cadence but with simple deliver
The utter simplicity of the production, with no bass, no metroboomin beats just a simple track, recorded so humbly with no showing off,
rap at its most humble
and at 4 am as a voice message.....
Bro unlocked one of the best cole verses of all time
Imagine waking up to someone spitting the realest advice to you in a song?
Who dislikes this video the song is just so amazing if you know that j cole is logic's role model and j cole sang this song for logic
3.14 159 fuck the haters
Xotic true fuck these people who dislike it but don't even understand the meaning behind it
It's beauty in the struggle .. Been so down lately but music helps fr yo
DrinkMoWater i see you everywhere
I disliked it because logic didn't want the entire world to know about this. That's why it was a secret. It's supposed to be a reward for listening through the entire album for the true fans. It's a not anyone's place to share it online and ruin that for people. This is from Jermaine for Bobby. And the true fans. You made it about Logic featuring J Cole for CZcams views. It's disrespectful.
I felt this deep in my soul. J. Cole is a wise and humble man! Sheesh
...🔥🔥🤦🏿♂️😭😭😭
I feel like this verse has even more meaning and relevance after Logic's retirement.
Facts
Like i said the moment he announced it, logic isnt retiring.
Lol dude ain’t retired
😂😂
I can't stop listening to this, I view j cole as a role model too and this is just so emotional tbh
“Fuck approval from strangers that shit is dangerous as hell, find God learn to accept yourself”
That’s so real really felt that
2024 this still hitting the same 🙏
Had to come back to this verse after No pressure 😥😓😓😓
this verse has roamed my mind for years...... its so good.
Verse never fails to give me goosebumps man....the words just flow right through your soul. Hits different when the going gets tough.
Fuck approval from strangers that shit dangerous as hell - j cole 🐐
Song makes me cry man... whenever I’m depressed and wanna let my tears out I just turn this on when I’m driving home from work at like 2 am
one of my favorite verses of all time. just truth from heart to heart
Everytime I listen to this, I just imagine a flashback of Logic's rap career like from 2010 all the way to now. Like how Cole and other rappers influenced Logic to this day, its just like a music video idea that should go with this...
Shit this gotta be one of Cole’s greatest verses of all time. It was a perfect way to close the album.
this song is powerful !!
Bro this secret track is gonna go down as a message to logic and what he can be and who I think he’s gonna be. I know it’s been a while but I think bro is going places, as a fan.
He's still so young and is now free from Def Jam to do whatever tf he wants. He still has so far to go fr
The very first time I heard this, my eyes couldn’t help to shed tears 😭
Its been 2 years since I've listened to this and im bout to shed a tear too.
This is undoubtedly the most Humble, simplicit, Homage tracks ever. Between J-Coles delivery and the Lo-Fi quality of the song, it's something to be remembered forever. J-Cole has found an understanding in life that most of us can't Fathom, that we can't imagine, or see yet. This man Understands. You can hear it in his tone that he has this shit figured out. God damn. Shout out to cole.
Find god and learn to accept yourself 🙏
I literally cried man wtf, it hit way too close to home
I imagine myself just spitting this in a class as a poem or something having everyone in shock on how beautiful this is these type of songs that make you zone and imagine so much are amazing and I thank jcole for that
One of my personal favorites of all time. I thank God that he gave this to me
Cole is one of the few out there that has a deep understanding of the root of pain and how to heal it. you have to grieve your trauma
His best feature verse. What sets it apart from others that he talked in logic perspective while putting his own twist to it. And he wrote and sent this to logic on a voicemail. Amazing 🤩
So refreshing to listen to J cole. I swear he inspires my work too but I'm glad to see what he did for Logic. May Your Idols Never Be Your Rivals.
Keep coming back to this verse somehow.
I’ll never forget when this came on after that entire Everybody album .. damn.
That moment everyone finally finds out the name of the song 😂
dank memester this ain't the name of the song. It's a J cole's verse on AfricAryaN
Martin Jasso ya, but "acceptance" is the name of this, logic said this in a couple interviews.
RattPack x ColeWorld
All i did was looked up J Cole buys logic a burger and i find one of my favorite verses from my favorite rapper. Hes an idol. He really is
This was Cole's message to Logic ❤️
Imagine:
A man with a family of 4 him, wife, 2 daughters. He's laying down in the middle of the street gunned down. Blood everywhere. Camera zooms put of him. And this song plays. i had a dream of this.
I feel like, just like we do, Logic comes back to this every once in a while
Definitely
Man all og logic fans know how important a role cole played in helping my fav rapper reach where he at now he is 4 yrs older and like a big bro to bobby....big up to u jermaine....
“ I’ll never feel your approval until I accept my own “

he legit played the beat on his computer and just rapped into his phone XD
A song i always listen to whenever my thoughts are full of regrets i did in the past.
I don’t think people realize how true it is what i Cole is saying about logic. It’s so deep and true
I remembered when I first discovered this song. I cried, and this is one of the few songs that makes me cry.
Logic is so lucky I can’t believe j cole made this for him
“Are you running from something with hopes of being someone that’s finally worthy of love? Let me tell you now, YOU WORTHY ENOUGH. Fuck acceptance from strangers that shit is dangerous as hell. FIND GOD, LEAN TO ACCEPT YOURSELF.”
I listened to this and damn near cried
Dontae Norfleet I actually did cry.

Much more respect for Cole after I listened to this and learned the story behind it. Cole cared enough about Logic to write, record and personally send this to him. This was a sonnet(ish) aimed at Bobby. Not many people do that. This was Jermaine talking to Bob.
This reminds me and goes with the album, of like a future civilisation and they find an old CD of this song or something like in wall e, kinda cool ambiance
Which lil whatever fan disliked this
Francisco Villegas lmfao im dead!
Francisco Villegas 😂 😂 😂 👌🏿.. Some 8 week rapper
Chosen by the white man, hit store rapper. Who'd definitely, in my opinion, will get exposed standing next to a 6'4" rapper because, to be quite honest, if they weren't talking about the bread those motherfuckers would be toast.
Just anotha short bus rapper
Fake drug dealers turn to a bust trapper
You can tell he recorded this during the same time as KOD, same flow, delivery, etc.
you’re kidding, everything about this screams 4yeo. the laid-back drunken beat, his nonchalant, indifferent cadence densely packed with contemplation about our psyche and shit

197 people still seeking approval from strangers
this is so relevant to how logic feels now... screaming for acceptance with us thinking nothing of it.
How can you tell me this man not the goat? Yeah the big 3 but he the big 1
Theres said to be a second part in Logic's last album that he will drop later on where he raps back to Cole saying how he's realized how true that is and how he admires him for being real always. Apparently they both rap back and forth, idk i just hope its true. This shit alone 🔥🔥🐐

I got choked up and cried, it feels like hes talking to us personally
This song makes me cry
What’s crazy is I’ve heard this song so many times and never once realized it was Cole
J Cole makes rapping look easy he is that good
as a biracial, i cried to this song so many times
this is the most relatable verse I've ever heard, I wish this was created when I was younger, it's too late for me now.
Cole sent this to Logic, a grown man. It’s not too late, don’t quit on yourself or ignore your brilliance
@@calebn4719 thanks fam cause that's honestly what I needed to hear.
I love Hip-Hop.
This is like some kind of anti-loosie, man. A track that may one day be forgotten by the majority of J. Cole fans, not because it is a track without a project, but because it is a track tied to somebody ELSE's project. It's barely tied to Logic's project because he overwrote its outro on the next album he put out! This damn track is like a space between worlds, a J. Cole song in the middle of two different sides of Logic's discography. I used to have this song on repeat and it's been a while, so I could probably put it on repeat all over again. I'm not even biracial, there's just something about the intimacy of J. Cole's words from one person to another, yet that person could still be you even just for part of that song. There's a candidness in the fact that J. Cole is genuinely speaking to him over the phone but it's not explicit, so it's like he's talking to YOU over the phone. J. Cole has never done a track like that before and I don't know if he ever will again. Beautiful. Good move from Logic to just keep it raw as the recording from a phone call.
Have you listened to no pressure and if yes what you think about it
@@M3N04 I think it's a great album. Love the production. Haven't digested the lyrics to the point that I can properly comment on them or rank the album...a little disappointed in the lack of features but it sounds better than the last time I listened to Under Pressure so 🤷🏾♂️

Factz bro bro
I had goosebumps the first time I heard this on the last track
Imagine you chilling at the crib, then youre favorite rapper, you biggest idol, send you this. Out of the blue. Bro, even I cried as a b*. Cole is out of this world. So do Logic. Is so f cool see two gigants artists showing love and respect to eachother. What a time to be alive my friends, Sometimes its hard, but we can't never take things like that for granted. So Pure, so honest. I was so happy for bobby when I hear this for the first time.
(Sorry for my bad english)
One of my favorite J. Cole pieces period
Fun fact: the beat is January 28 reversed and at a higher pitch
It took me 6 years to truly feel what he was saying, like Cole says sometimes you gotta step back do some living to gain a new perspective
For some reason, the song is just better this way.
I love this part of this song because my sister had a brain annurism and she had a 1% chance of living, and now she's apart of that 1% and just reminds how hard she works and how she struggled. J Cole and Logic are the best rappers alive in 2017, because theyre not the people who talk about gangs and drugs and guns and money, they talk about how they struggled growing up, just like my sister
Joseph Higareda you shouldn't compare what your sister went through to what these people went through. Your sister beat the odds, and beat death. These artists haven't gone through something that harsh.
