I think coffee has put more time into it than most crypto projects. Most of the 4000 that came and went were just forks of the bitcoin or Ethereum source code with minor changes. The whole space is scammy. The original bitcoin project is shaped like a scam, it just got pumped more times than others and the founder seemed to have died or disappeared before the rug pull.

The story of Eddie Ibanez is the plot of the 2011 film Moneyball, mixed with a little Oliver Twist fan fiction.
It also reminds me of how "emperors clothes" elements of the tech industry can be. Somewhere, there's a dev that can assert bullshit because they're technologically literate, however; when the room is full of technologically illiterate people the problem is that NOBODY NOTICES. I've worked in big corps where people in extremely senior positions can be relatively inept, making big important decisions without actually understanding the technology. Executives can get away with their ignorance when they can delegate to people that do know, but the problem is that they are completely unable to vet if their delegates actually do know. So when their delegates don't know, then the whole thing tailspins into a crater, especially if those delegates are not listening to the stark warnings the technologically literate below them are likely giving about cost, schedule and scope. This is a factor in why IT projects have a high failure rate.
Sadly, this is only going to get worse as technologies such as GPT-3 will enable grifters to bullshit even more effectively than they do today.
it's basically most of conservatives/republicans in the US right now. They all lie constantly and make stuff up, embellish their past, etc. They're all trying to be the dumb person's version of a smart person. In the last election cycle there were like a dozen GOP candidates caught blatantly lying about their past and it was all pretty easy to fact check but they kept with the lies.
Once again independent journalists going after stories and doing the work the mainstream people do not touch.

Eddie made the perfect scapegoat, and while I do think Logan is dumb about many things, money and using people aren't some of them. Eddie is a smokescreen at this point and Logan and his team are going to use that to defend themselves, probably successfully, to stay out of serious trouble.
The real insanity of this thing is Logan could have just paid his developers and they likely would have gotten away with it. It's just ridculous. A million is not that much considering the scope of this: How dumb and greedy can you be?
The fact that he has the production value to have a robot sidekick makes all of this investigation so much more beautiful.

I hate how videos like this will crop photos to only show tiny segments that they want you to see, or clips of audio that only say what they want you to hear without actually telling you the whole thing.
This is my 1st Coffee video, and I don't know him, but he has an incentive to make money and content too, and people LOVE drama, so making things as dramatic as possible is what he's going to do. All while giving off this "I'm the best kind of guy and only here to unveil bad guys/the truth", which makes you want to trust him.
Maybe he is, but the way this video was edited was very trustworthy.

Often times businesses will believe whatever these contracted analysts say over their own employees that are extremely knowledgeable about their respective and very specific field. Not having a go BUT .. I have a friend who is a orphan who has a living mum .. how?, he was adopted and brought up by her SO he sees her 100% as his mum, I think a lot of people have this experience.
His biological mother is alive and was in his life.
Yeah this is the only part of the video that didn't seem quite there. I would expect most orphans (especially those who were adopted during early childhood) would refer to their foster mother as if they were their real one, assuming they had a good relationship. It needed that extra proof that the person referred to in the cooking video was in fact his biological mother.
Does ur friend refer to themselves as adopted or orphaned? I think the issue is that orphan implies u were left in the system on ur own but adopted doesn't have the connotation.
I hope that someone in the future stand up against these infleuencer scammers and bring them to court. The thing is, we as viewers would happily help to raise funds to make it happen. So many disgusting people get away with what they've done because no one legally prosecute them. Coffezilla is the one guy that has the power to influence and make it happen. More than half of the investigation is already done. Someone just need to get a lawyer and bring it to court.

Eddie Ibanez reminds me of Anna Delvy, that fake German heiress. Con artists are just so fascinating. The narccisim, moral corruption, charisma and charm these people have all while doing awful things to their victims. To normal people it's just so alien how these scammers think and behave.
