I don't get emotional listening to songs, but this cover killed me. I was sobbing watching this for the first time. I thought he was speaking to me and my former self and I was shaken. I still can't listen to this cover without crying and having the chills. San's voice always touches my heart and makes me feel seen and understood.

I 100% agree because I'm going through alot, my husband had just gotten diagnosed with cancer on top of other crazy stuff. When I heard San sing this I started crying, because it felt like he was hugging me, telling me what I need to hear. San is my ult, doesn't know I exist, but he covered this song and released it exactly when I needed it most.
I feel you Jas! This song made me cry and San did such an amazing job covering this song with his emotion and technique . On my bad days I know I will come back to listen to this cover for comfort 💛 “it’s okay” and “you really did a great job” are such simple words but are so impactful and could bring up another person without the other party even knowing it. I'm just really happy that San has an official cover that shows his vocals bcs many ppl often forget or doesn't know that he is the lead vocalist of ATEEZ and his vocals are often overshadowed by his amazing stage presence and dancing. I just want more people to appreciate his vocals more just like how they always praise him for his facial expressions and dancing 😔
Also this song is one of my most played song of 2021, always hit my heart whenever i listen to it esp when i learn the lyrics, i related to it so much, reminded me of how much i struggled on my worst year of my college life 💔 this is like one of my comfort song and made me go through despite all the hardships.
San is still the lead vocalist of Ateez tho, just like how Jongho is the main vocalist of Ateez. It’s just KQ never gave San the proper treatment he should have gotten as the lead vocalist.

When I tell you I bawled 😭 my eyes out the first time I listened to this, oh my gosh. I needed this right now, my hubby just had major cancer surgery and it's been tough emotionally for me. San's voice, the way he sang this, the emotion he put into it, along with the lyrics, it honestly felt like San was "hugging" me when I needed it most. People forget San got into KQ because of that stunning voice of his, and I'm glad he finally gave us this present of a cover. That's my Ult Kpop bias right there, y'all, he is just beyond amazing.
I am going through a difficult time at the moment and listening to San sing one of my favourite songs also made me shed even more tears but at the same time he comforted me when no one else would❤🌼

THIS is exactly why the phrase exists. San's capacity to deliver such emotion and depth is so prevalent throughout Ateez discography, its easy to forget because he's more renowned for his exceptional performance skills.
I did not know this song existed prior to this, but knowing its history, there's a sense of additional gravitas and weight behind it, and we all know our Mountain is a perfectionist so he wanted to do it justice
He succeeded and beyond. Kudos to HJ and Maddox for the composition and arrangement
