Okay so this is what happened...
I'm still only getting used to my oven.
I've not yet learnt to use it perfectly.
So there's this knob that comes below the temperature knob known as the "Function Select Knob".
I was supposed to put it at "Bake Mode", but I unknowingly set it at "Toast Mode" and thus my cake got slightly burnt or crispy (like bread toast) I'd say.
The recipe as such was actually correct 🥺
