Exsanguinate is now a meta/popular build because a video by Maxroll recommended it a few hours ago for this league. I believe the amulet's price will increase significantly, and I'm very angry about it.
I already had everything prepared, I was just counting the hours until the league started, I confess that this discouraged me, unfortunately I don't have a plan b.

I understand your feelings. It might not be easy to grab the rdff early league, but the build still can work really well without it. Since everything else is cheap, it could be your first goal to save some currency for it. If you want you can check my video on how to craft a +2 amulet: czcams.com/video/J-_o1xgznKM/video.html. @@BahamGG I've been looking at PoB and doing some tests, I haven't changed anything, just the skills and Reap's numbers are very good, even better than exsanguinate's, what do you think about that?

@@andson_reap need to have spell cascade support In order to fully work. I've tested it after someone else suggest it. It felt super clunky.

@@BahamGG I made the following changes and in PoB they seemed very significant: I replaced the Exsanguinete and Empower gems with Reap and Increase Critical Damage. Then I changed the Amulet to +3 Reap, and I changed the armor to The Covenant +2 AOE +2 Duration. The numbers were insane. But now that you say it I didn't know about Spell Cascade. So Sad :/

I am a minions enjoyer and with the change this league I will go minions as starter. But I did share your mine build with my friend and he start with your build. We did a practice run together and it was pretty good.

Are stormburst totem meta or of meta? Skill is not really popular, but items looks like pretty similar to archmage archetype.

I don't know the archetype. Sometimes gear will overlap between builds, of course. Try to use upsides and downsides to your advantage. Have fun!

Yes, I did. I got extremely lucky and hit raise 2 modifier to their highest tier and then slam a suffix with attack speed.
