@@Brodieplayspokemon I was surprised lost origin was the hardest to grade. Was that set just a bad print run in general?
@WattoRips Yeah I remember opening multiple booster boxes at release. They had white print dots, poor centering or those indent dots. The data speaks for itself haha

For Umbreon being a pop 10,000 plus in PSA 10, I don't see that as a lot really, especially how many people that love Umbreon. It's a beautiful card and is the best card to release for a long time..
Thanks for your comment! For me 10,000 seems like alot and as long as the demand stays around I think people will continue to collect the umbreon.

@@Brodieplayspokemon yep your stat proved some of the thoughts I had on that card. Also makes sense why so many ppl were paying high raw prices on the moondog.
The euphoria around some of the modern stuff is a bit worrying. The next big Pokémon crash is going to be a blood bath. It might take 5-15 years but it's coming.
Thats my concern aswell, I feel like there isn't much 'rarity' in modern. However, to counter that I always try to grade modern rather then buy the 10s so atleast my buy in price is much lower.
Do you think it'll be popularity that will dwindle or an outside factors, or combo of both?
Demand matters more than the scarcity
If demand dwindles I supposes that's where we'd see some significant price falls. I suspect the more popular alt arts will continue to have strong demand even if the pops continue to increase
@@Brodieplayspokemon I can agree with that I think the more popular ones will keep sucking energy away from the weaker ones. Top hits from good sets historically have done pretty well

At least for the lowest percent PSA 10 graded cards I think it has nothing to do with them being V or VMax but more with them being Promos. All of them are Promos and it just shows how terrible the packaging of Promos is.
Totally agree with you on this. But there seems to be a trend even amongst the promos for the vmax cards to have a higher grade % then the Vs.

@@Brodieplayspokemon I have a small but mighty collection, it's def very challenging but instead of dealing with 10k population i'm dealing with around 30 or 40 (max 200 HF zard and as low as pop 1 unbroken bonds zard) from around 5% to less then 1% of submissions. A much more managable number in my mind
