- In this video I'll show you tips for cleaning your dutch oven. I have a white, enameled dutch oven that get's burnt food on it constantly and I found the easiest method for cleaning it.
Whether you have a ceramic dutch oven, crockpot, stainless steel pots and pans, these tips for cleaning should work for them all!
I’ll show you how to quickly clean a dutch oven in this video. I have a trick that I discovered sort of on accident that I want to share with you today!

Just to add, if you soak your oven in soapy water before you do this, makes this process about 5 minutes..

Oh my gosh, thank you for this! I've been baking sourdough in my light blue oven for 2 years and never had an issue. Until recently. This stuff worked like a charm! Thank you for saving me countless hours of scrubbing!

Wow, that really did the trick! You might want to research the green scrubby, though, on enamel cookware.

porcelain enamel is very similar to glass, if I understand it correctly, so that would explain why this works so well

I must be doing something wrong - I purchased the product you recommended & my dutch oven was nowhere near as stained (I have no stains on the outside of pot)as yours - the inside stain is moderate & nothing changed after cleaning, nothing! It’s so frustrating….😱
Hi Jane, Ugh, I'm so sorry it's not working for you! I actually noticed if I use a soft scrub sponge it works better than when I used the scrub brush. I think because the grainy cleaner gets into the sponge and works in tandem with it.
Also, sometimes I let the cleaner soak on the dutch oven for a while and that helps. Mostly, though, it just wipes right off without much effort.
Do you know if it's grease that's stuck on your oven? if you know specifically what it is, then that'll help to know how to get it off.
I burnt my enameled cast iron I turned it on to start steel cut oats for my kids and stepped away for a call and got distracted in the call and the pot bubbled up on the inside w the heat do I need to get rid of it 😢
I’m so sorry! But NO! Don’t get rid of it. Simply soak with boiling hot water, scrub, and use this cleaner I mention in the video to get it off.
