Can I suggest a sweet nickname for Fletcher unless that is his nickname...the Arrow. Cuz fletching arrows give it max accuracy and his painting is spot on đ
Poor Vashtorr, out of all the Warlord traits he's forced to use the worst one. It's like GW just wants him to be barely mediocre.
Itâs SUCH a shame. He deserves his own trait that applies to Daemon engines.

I think they purposely gave him lackluster rules because vaashtor is going to ascend to become the 5th chaos god and this mini will renamed the scion of vaashtor or something else like that

Vashtorr's Unholy Mechanism only says attacks, so I am fairly certain it applies to both melee and ranged :) He can however only choose one of the rules which is a bit rubbish. Very cool model though and great paint job
Correct but the lord discordant's ability clearly says melee only.
Vashtorr paint is amazing but it sad a Warpsmith would be more useful than him. Warpsmith can actually give the Forgefiend the +1 to hit on ranged attack at 23:32.
Yeah I made a mistake there but Vashtorr really should have the ability to do that anyway đ

Also think GW have cocked up the rules on Vashtorr by not adding in that his weapon does extra damage against warsuits. They're not really any different to a dread.

The painting is amazing! Fletch is a very talented man. With Mont'ka you can re roll 1s to wound if within a certain range depending on the battle round and there was a lot of times you missed that. Y'vahra turn 1 would've really benefited from this.
The white venom crawlers at least give some nice contrast to the army. I know itâs the BLACK legion, but they look good with the rest of the army at least. đ€·ââïž

Beard you kept forgetting that the Lord discordant would get +2 hits on his Baleflamer for let the galaxy burn. Also you missed the Black Legion +1 to hit several times.

Having painted my friend's carnifex only to see it used against my squishy guardians the next week, I can really say I know what Fletcher was thinking with the Vashtorr. It must die, no matter how beautiful he made it.

Just a heads-up, the stealth suits get a 2+ in cover, so even if the venom crawlers get a +1 to hit they would still take a -1 penalty

did the tabletop tactics crew have a different version of the rules for Vashtor then the ones GW released digitally? like using all of his ability's and the plus one to hit being for melee like the editor notes keep saying instead of everything which is how it is on the digital rules? i can totally see GW having different rules in the hard copy in the box then the digital ones that they release.
