HOW THE MAKEUP WORE:
(after 9 hours)
Beautyblender Skin Tint - I was shiny by the end of the day with no touch-ups, but despite that I was pleasantly surprised that the formula hadn’t moved around my face or gathered around my nose. I’m guessing it has some sort of film-forming properties in it.
Tom Ford Crème Quad - I did have some creasing and fading by the end of the day, but only in my actual eye folds. The formula was intact on the flatter planes of my eye. I will need to test this with some other eye primers or try setting it with powder eyeshadow for longevity.
Bare Minerals Maximist Mascara - Long-wearing with no smudging and easy to remove with my regular cleansing balm. Didn’t flake throughout the day.
Danessa Myricks Nutcracker + Patrick Ta Beauty - Both wore beautifully with no fading, even over a dewy base, as expected of these formulas.
Hey Bekah, a little tip: try using the beauty sponge dry to apply serum-type bases like that Beauty Blender Bounce foundation and see what you think. Many forget that it can be used dry as well. Fingers are obviously great too. Just another quicker option. I cannot tell you how much I look forward to your videos! Thank you for showing the face glaze - I was looking for a hydrating and oil-free product to use in my makeup bag that isn’t as bulky as the Saie Beauty glowy gel. I appreciate the oily-skin insights as a fellow oily girl!

I have the TF new all matte squad. The formula is indeed fab but the colours run more neutral on me than in the pan

Hi Bekah, can you compare the face glaze to the Auric glow lust? I'd love to know if they are different enough to warrant having both.
You don’t need both
Hi! Great question. You definitely don’t “need” both as they serve a similar function, but they are pretty different in texture. Glow Lust is much more glowy, a traditional liquid highlighter texture. Face Glaze is more of a luminous gel primer texture, grippy and not as lotiony as Glow Lust. Face Glaze is also not as pigmented as Glow Lust can be. I would apply Face Glaze with fingers only, whereas Glow Lust I like with a brush. Auric in general has a more luxurious brand experience/packaging. That said, the price point of Inn Beauty Project is about half of Auric. Hope that’s helpful!

Is the skinfix moisturizer still a moisturizer you come back to ? Or did you find something better ?
I really liked it! My husband is actually using it now and he's really enjoying it too. I also like their original moisturizer for colder weather or when my skin isn't as oily.

How do you compare the YTP serum to other comparable hyaluronic acid cheaper versions such us the inkey list?
They're very different in formula. The YTTP formula is much more complex and contains peptides, which aid with anti-aging, as well as plant extracts. YTTP's texture is thinner and doesn't leave any stickiness behind. The Inkey List HA is great for the price point! But it's a simpler formula, just straight up HA without the anti-aging benefits. I also find the Inkey List HA to be a bit thicker and slightly tacky as it dries down.
