The nostalgia surrounding this mix is insane... I've listened to this mix since at least 7 years ago now. This was literally THE mix that introduced me / got me into eurobeat. In fact, this was the mix that got me into Initial D, which is the show that kicked my love for cars into full gear. I've always wondered one thing though: How the heck did he get the songs to sound like THAT? The songs in this mix have such a unique, hard-hitting and nostalgic sound/atmosphere to them, but I have no idea how he got it to sound like that... My best guess is simply bass boosting, but for some reason it feels like so much more than that. Either way, it's an amazing mix that I'll surely continue to listen to in the future, especially when I want to reflect on my past.
The amount of intensity contained in this mix is unfathomable. Perfect for everything, from driving to studying to walking down the street to having sex. Intense.

Notice, that I uploaded this mix before the first episode of Fifth Stage and the release of Arcade Stage 7; it's almost as if I predicted that Crazy on Emotion would be used in 5th stage, and Disconnected used in AA7. Again, those songs "fit the racing thrill". To answer your question, I got those particular songs from the Super Eurobeat series.
D-SPEC I (REDUX) D-SPEC II In progress. Unfortunately the original files were erased due to an accidental formatting of the HDD luckily I had notes written for this first mix so I will have to remake from scratch. Expect Ds1 (much much higher quality and better version) early Jan 2016 and Ds2 before May 2016. I appreciate the feedback!

I remember listen to this in my 04 Subaru Impreza when I first bought it. It has been sitting in my barn for a few years since it broke down and I finally got it fixed up and back on the road again recently! Of course this was the first mix I listen to after inspection. I didn't realize how much I missed driving it.
Finished my undergrad dissertation while listening to this. The last 400 or so words were way harder to write than the 9600 before them. Thanks for not taking this one down, always liked it best. Good health to you.
