These commercials are bringing up so many memories. Oddly comforting.🙂
I remember all these. I used to love the smell of Agree 😂
These take me back. Wow
So much simpler and better
I was 19 years old when this came out excellent years😊😊😊😊
Nothing but good memories great decade
Born in 1970 a kid in the 70’s a teen in the 80’s good times..
I absolutely love love love the 70s commercials! I am totally blind, and I get much more out of commercials like these than I could ever get out of more modern commercials of today. Commercials back in the day easy to understand and that’s why they were so great and successful. 2:00 2:07 2:16 2:30
Remember watching "Something For Joey" when it first aired. I was in my late teens and cried like a baby.
Joyce Dewitt looks fantastic here.
I enjoy old Commercials
I was 9 in 1979….the year I got Atari ..technically December 1978…..good Christmas
My goodness I remember a lot of these ads. I was in my 20s in the 1980's.
I was 8 in 70, but I remember most of these commercials.
Me too! I remember agree conditioner gets rid of the greasies. 😁
I want to go back!
You really took me back home when I heard all of these Chicago land commercials I live up here in St. Paul Minnesota now, and I think it’s wonderful that I could just go and listen to these commercials anytime I want with my phone thank you 39:34
I was 12 years old in 1979, my brother Paul was 20 years old
I was 11 years old 😊🎉😮😂 I miss that age and more those were the days that are no more . Great to be able to go back and recap. 😅
P.s my brother was12 but he has passed away a little while back.at least we both made it past 50 years old and most of all we both are saved by Jesus Christ! Amen! Peace.
@@shanehardy5676good for you.
I was 6.
I was 12.
Aww Morris.😺
Great batch of commercials! I totally remember the StarBeat's "What's Happening" too!
I was 5
what a great era and life was so much better..
10:48 Do you recognize this voice? It's Jake Holmes, one of the all-time great jingle singers.
"Gillette! The best a man can get!" "Raise your hand if you're Sure!" "Come see the softer side of Sears." "Nothing beats a Stouffer's pizza!"
So this is what Chicagoans were watching on x-mas day in 1979. Interesting.
My first Christmas.
Green Giant Green Beans In Butter Sauce (With A Green Bean Stealing Raccoon. Voiced By Frank Nelson) (Narrated By John Erwin) 9:13
"EEE-Yeeeeeeeeesssss"
Hey. Nice Catch Phrase.
I just turned 19 more than a week earlier.
I was about to turn 9.
@jashary15 how old were you when you lost your virginity?
December 25, 1979 (Christmas Day 1979)
I'm starting a rock band called 'The Greasies"!
🤣🤣🤣
A fantastic name for a band original name
I saw two coffee brands that looked good. The models were more makeup free. The jokes are funnier. Still find now how far we have come.
Anyone remember the SCTV spoof 'Joyce De Halfwit's half legs?
Is that Frank Nelson in the Green Giant ad?
DOWNY ,TODAY ITS NOT THE SAME 34:41
Grabbing woman and throwing in a car to listen to a radio..lol
Yup, that was bizarre enough for me to include it in a short that described it as borderline kidnapping lol czcams.com/users/shortsHoVNKp4ZjpA?feature=share
What number is Joyce DeWitt at?
Is that Wendi Malick as the first person in the Excedrin commercial?
I believe it is.
Definitely Wendie
Huh? Where's all the blacks in these commericals like todays. LOL
At your moms house.
Better times.
@@davidmitchell6873 how low can you go...Talking trash about someone's mon.. I bet you got a smile on your face now, because someone responded to your comment. You really need to get a life.
Lol
I literally caught myself halfway through with a permanent cringe face. Ugh! The hair, the clothes, the acting! "Rula Lenska", didn't know who she was then and still don't know now. 😅
Something tells me you have a permanent cringe face. You must be a little ray of sunshine everywhere you go.
Well aren't you a ray of sunshine?
It was better in many ways.
