Yeah, judo moves are killer in any combat sport. I basically taught myself judo by binging CZcams videos on techniques. Got myself some tatamis and heavy-duty bands to amp up those judo throws. Can't say for sure how good I am, but I'm betting it'll do the trick.
I am an Angami, but deep inside from the bottom I was cheering for the foreigner to win. Ayale, this is too good to watch 😅. How badly we need more of this in the coming years. They are beating us in our own game, what can be more overwhelming and delightful than this! I am sure there will be more coming with this big win. This is another proof that we are not the strongest people on planet Earth lol. With times others are humbling us in our traditional game. I always have the wrong perspective/notion that Angamis and Chakhesang people are stronger and that it is in the blood, proven wrong gladly. I used to think it is the quality of water in Phek and the salt intake, and for the Angamis I wonder if the Kohima Village Angamis are better quality breeds. Why because, our Champs from Chakhro Area get taken down so easily by the random of both. Is it because of the weather difference though? However I still think the defeat of the Beast in Chin Wrestling was staged, I could be wrong but it does look like that because he usually never plays like that, inactive. If this doesn't inspire the other stubborn Naga tribes to join, nothing will 😅. You understand the beauty of the game only when you start to play. But keep watching while we have all the fun, traditional Naga Wrestling will keep on going for long no matter the lack of support, the lack of concern to promote a beautiful game such as this, or the sheer unwillingness from the other tribes. No grudge for the one on the floor two times, he had his days and still have future matches to shine. This one hit different 😅. Using the same known tactic twice and got it right in both, had me laughing hard 😅. There's no shame in losing to a wrestler with superior technical skills, especially considering this individual hails from the Altai mountain region, where wrestling boasts a rich history. It would also be interesting to see Naga wrestlers compete against Punjabis, Haryanvis, or similar individuals from that part of India. Ok.

More international players participating will only hone and train our wrestler in the days to come. Today our local champions have lost to the more sound technique wrestlers and so its only a beginning for the bright days ahead. Lets face the tough by training in a very professional way in the future. Kudos to the organizers for this great event making it international extravaganza🎉.
