Exact reason I watch him! (well that and we share a lot of opinions). Back when I really got passionate about cartoons, I always felt very very disappointed, because when I talked to others, they didn’t come close to matching my passion. Then I discovered his channel, and it was like the heavens itself opened up. Like we don’t even know each other, but I could still feel him on a whole other level. It made my day honestly.

Spongebob has always been my favorite. The voice actors are top notch, it’s creative, and even now it still makes me roll on the ground laughing. It’s just a show that can appeal toward anyone. Spongebob is my favorite work of animation period. It’s not just a cartoon to me. It’s art.
Facts.. SpongeBob is legendary in it's own right..they shaped & impacted our childhoods and beyond.. everything was top notch,the voice acting,the comedy,the animations & expressions,the music,etc..this show was everything 💖

TMNT 2012 was a good Nick show. It had a better understanding of the turtle's personalities, good writing, and the characters were likeable. It did have some flaws, but no show is perfect. Even the theme song is catchy imo. It's unfortunate the fanbase wasn't that big and the show was canceled in 2017.
TMNT 2012 also pulled an astonished amount of stuff from Japanese culture and integrated it into the show flawlessly.

As someone who has Asperger's Syndrome, I felt that Harvey Beaks is a very touching show that dealt with this heavy subject with such great humor. I'm glad you introduced me to it. (I've never even heard of it before I saw this video because Nickelodeon's advertisements for it are shit, and they'd rather you watch a show about two kids rapping and sharting.)
+SplendidCoffee0 yeah the advertisements to Harvey Beaks are terrible. I didn't add the trailer but a clip from the show because the trailer was too misleadingly sappy. I am an Aspie too and I think the best thing to come out of this video was that I cheered some fellow Aspies up. It's rarely an easy life with Aspergers, but we are all amazing people with great potentials.

Phantom Strider, I want to thank you so much for such a fantastic video. As somebody who watched a bit more Nickelodeon than Cartoon Network, I am in such a tough place with justifying the current place of the channel. Your video was well researched, well written, and it brought back such amazing memories for me. It is completely unbelievable that I have just found your channel while I was stumbling down the comparatively dull CZcams rabbit hole. This video is the third of yours that I have watched and it intrigues me so much.
I never knew that you would give so much positive press to shows that are so criminally underrated (My life as a Teenage Robot, Danny Phantom, The Last Airbender)!!!

Cartoon Network was basically the black sheep of kids networks. Cartoon Network’s cartoons were more adult and darker than Nickelodeon’s cartoons. Cartoon Network even had more variety in my opinion from action, slice of life, superheros, anime, Adult Swim, uncut classic cartoons and even horror.

Pants on Fire Yeah people really unfairly hate uncle grandpa imo. its got that random charm to its humor and some interesting characters. Its not for everyone but if your gonna hate on it for its surreal humor than 90% of cartoons must suck for you.

Avatar the Last Airbender to me is the jewel in the crown of Nickelodeon, the story is ground breaking, the animation is flawless, and Zuko has the best character development of all time from hot headed anger raged teen to a calm and peaceful human being. That’s my opinion and I’m sticking to it!

Invader Zim: Given Improper treatment because Fairly Odd Parents was getting all of the love
Harvey Beaks: Was treated like crap and moved to Nicktoons after only a few episodes
Glitch Techs: Canceled before it even premiered, but it was moved to Netflix, which I think is a good thing because the show will get more love there than on the main network
Danny Phantom: Unfortunately canceled even though it had a big following (It's my favorite, too)
It's Pony: Similar situation to Harvey Beaks, though it hasn't been moved to Nicktoons yet
Nickelodeon has a bad record for giving improper treatment to shows and then canceling them. All of these shows are on my Top 15, so it's sad to see that they've been given improper treatment.
This: all older shows that Nick canceled. Top Worst: all new show that Nick is probably gonna keep until 2018

No one can deny the staying power of Spongebob Squarepants. Those first three seasons immortalized the show. It's been almost 20 years since its debut and it's still getting renewed. I think it's possible it won't ever get canceled. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if 30 years from now my grandchildren are watching new episodes of this show. Not many cartoons can claim that. Stephen Hillenburg may have a terminal illness, but he created a show that could live forever. Not many people can claim that.
It's going to outlive time and space itself.
When I first saw Harvey Beaks art style, I immediately thought of Chowder.

First Cartoon Network’s The Amazing World of Gumball, and now Nickelodeon’s Rocko’s Modern Life?
You reintroduced me to another cartoon where the first thing I could think of was “Oh I was wondering what this was”
The memories of that surreal intro played in my head the moment I remembered watching that DVD at school. In fact, I remember watching the episode “Who Gives A Buck?” on that very DVD (as well as the episode paired with it). I found it weird and sorta freaky, but now I consider it one of Nickelodeon’s best shows after watching some 10:00 PM reruns on FOXTEL’s Nickelodeon channel.
Thanks once again for helping connect the dots in my almost voided memories.

It's kinda hard to explain why. Whether it was the colorful characters, fun wishes and adventures or how much it made me laugh. As a kid and as a adult now, I love this show.

Is it just me, or does anyone else think season 4 of Spongebob wasn't that bad either? I think it was season 5 when things steadily got worse and it was by season 6 and 7 that things were at their lowest.

Jack Dope I kind of liked Karate island to be honest. It was very ironic and the bizareness made it extra funny for me. Not to mention Pat Morita's last acting role before his death. One of the best season 4 episodes is "Have you seen this snail?". But yeah, season 4 wasn't as great as 1-3, but it still had good moments that rival the more recent ones.
