- City's 15-match unbeaten run was ended in added time by a smash-and-grab Tottenham at the Etihad.
The visitors, playing almost exclusively on the counter-attack, struck early on and though Ilkay Gundogan equalised before half-time, went ahead again after the break through Harry Kane.
But in a frantic finish, a penalty by Riyad Mahrez in the 92nd minute of the game looked to have rescued a point for City, only for Kane to dramatically add another three minutes later - the goal that settled the contest 3-2 in Tottenham's favour.

@@megatronee337 what is possesion when you do absolutely nothing with it? also City had chances to become more dangerous at times but was shut down pretty effectively by the Spurs, Meanwhile City's Defence was in absolutely shambles sometimes.. you can't say the same for Tottenham, it's not just offense that wins you games but a good offense supplanted with good defence as you can't have the game in your hands 100% of the time and if you don't defend well and concede goals when the game is in the other teams hand you lose the match it's as simple as that and was really clear on display here..

Let's be honest, the defence was extremely poor. They managed to score 4 goals in 6 attempts( 1 ruled out by offside).
The defence was not awful, they just couldn't confront an extremely & unpredictable creative Spur side coached by a genius. This is what happens when you play robotic positional football.

Totenham came with a plan and during post match interview Kane and Son said they've worked whole week for this game and it worked as planned. This is what I say just take a gamble and bring the game to city and you might have a chance if you clinical but most teams just sit at the back and invite all the pressure from city and don't even have a plan of coming out from their box to the city box they are just there hoping to hold on for a draw.
Spurs is city’s kryptonite, always gives troubles, and to do a PL double over one of the most dominant teams itw is a rare feat

Chelsea play with three at the back and their cb are all good and now kante when he gets forward he has good speed to cover grounds quickly when opposition is on the counter so that's advantage they have over city
