How do you feel about playing the Kia vs french? I didn't like the positions I was getting as white especially in the winawer variation so I decided to switch.
I think KIA works well against the French when they play e6 and d5. (Which most people will do) It gets into exactly what you want as White. That's why I suggested Black deviate into more of a Sicilian position.

What should black do vs Ne2 instead of Be2 on 54:33 with the idea of going c3 g3/g4 and Bg2 followed by castles.
