Cumberbatch brilliant as ever.
I just love the way these guys can lose their British accents and speak like a Bostonian. Benedict goes from "The Imitation Game" to "Black Mass" and does it so damn well. Terrific actor.

+Johnny Collini I thought his accent was horrible,and he just didn't fit in, he almost ruined the film for me.
I thought his accent was fine...for a Southie politician, and Irishman.
The Sufi M.D 100% accurate. Why did they have so many Brits in the cast? None of them could pull off a good Boston accent.

I wonder if Cumberbatch,while filming his role,understood that Billy was every bit as corrupt as Whitey? The only important difference was that is law school degree,and his power,allowed him to stay out of prison. I grew up in Southie and know this from *personal* experience!
