      You can definitely do amazing things with them... what where you thinking of replacing them with, if anything (out of curiosity)?

      Update: I finally got one a few months back. You were definitely right about the unique character of this oscillator. Thanks again for the great video. Question though: is the secondary oscillator in tune with the Mangrove? I tried recreating what you did here and did not get any warbles.

    There's a trim at the back of the module that serve to adjust the tracking. Patch the square output to a guitar tuner, it should be able to track 5 octaves or so...
    See the trimming procedure here :

    Yo, that issue with your tracking is probably just because you are in Constant Formant mode. Constant Wave mode is what you want for "normal-ass VCO" duty.

    • @RPGould3
      @RPGould3  Před 3 lety +1

      Yes, but all the really good stuff is in Formant mode!!! :)

      @@bebop7 I played around with constant wave a bit more, and it is pretty cool too, but formant is definitely where it's at... I did recently calibrate the module with the trimming procedure somebody else suggested, and that helped a bit as well. But I think the overall consensus is that it is an amazing module!
