  • In 1921 the Greenwood district of Tulsa, Oklahoma was the site of a nothing less than a race massacre. African-Americans were murdered, their homes and business burned down. Why was this tale largely lost to history for both Blacks and whites?
Larry Potash traveled to Oklahoma to meet a small group of people searching for justice, a century later.

This is shameful you can’t hide or change history even if you don’t want it taught in schools!

That’s your takeaway? Specifically, black Americans faced, horrific, indignities and slaughter, and you have the audacity to say “among every race in the world?” Nice way to advertise your bad faith you racist piece of 💩.

Oh BS it had nothing to do with jealousy. Tell the facts that caused it! The striking of the match wasn't the elevator incident, it was shortly after the elevator incident when 200 blacks who illegally crossed into another district during segregation where the courthouse was & shot one or more whites, ONLY THEN did the response occur that burned their community. Tell the story correctly as it happened!!!
I'm all for restorative justice, but tell the truth of what occurred!

@@user-ff1qo9wt1m As I already said, it was common knowledge back in the 60's, though my recollection has faded somewhat with age. Such as now I think it was more like 10 whites that were killed & 10 blacks as well, during their attempt to bust the kid out of jail. F-You & your 'cope', you're no Freud or Sherlock, silly fella.
