You have convinced me to give this a try, had heard of it but never bought the idea until now! Because the cost of groceries is so high these days, when the pork shoulders go on sale, I buy one and cook it all day (no sauce) like you mentioned. Then I do BBQ for one meal, Mexican Chili Verde for another and now we have Pork Spaghetti to add to the rotation! Thanks for another great recipe! 😘

It just so happens I have some leftover BBQ pulled pork that I made the other night that I will indulge in making it with this spaghetti recipe this week! The pulled pork is already doused with the BBQ sauce, so I'll have to monitor my simmer time. I finally got my copy of the DPP cookbook last week, thank you and Iliza again for bringing this cooking concept to life!
It’s honestly just a very different outcome. I love being able to twirl a big wad of noodles on my fork. But if you prefer it the other way that’s ok too!

I suppose not. But the idea is to add smoked flavor. But you could certainly use roasted pork if you wanted to
