      Thank you, Sarge. I am really glad that people actually seem to enjoy watching my style of Prepping videos, which are fairly nerdy and aren't based on current events. I'm happy with any views that I get. To me, CZcams is a creative other for me. It's not my job.

      Please suggest -
      1) Transparent tape which can be cut without scissors
      2) Liquid glue to be used repeatedly which can fit in Altoids tin
      3) Compact slim stapler

    I guess I am too old school. I used my phone twice yesterday to call and talk to my mom. For me a phone is just that A PHONE. I usually have to top off my phone battery about once every two weeks. I personally think people have become to reliant on their phones. How many people know by heart (old school) all the important numbers, or are they written down because nobody does that anymore? My tablet and desktop is always left at home and are for internet NOT phone calls. Why? Because that is what the PHONE is for. The digital camera is what I take pictures with and I will keep it that way.

      The sad part is that you are the perfect target. You don't live in their scammer world and it's too easy to steal your whole life, replicate it, get a few or dozen flying monkeys involved to tarnish it and bury you alive. Guess who gonna save you? Nobody. You can't tell on them because they are the scammers doing it.

      I would bet that he did not; Further, I would bet that nobody did. Nobody else thought of this (or very few did), which means nobody tested it.
      IT IS a Very Good Idea.
      NEXT time there is a planned, scheduled Alert, everyone - and every Preparedness channel - should test this.
      Best would be to have two devices side-by-side, with one in the bag and the other free... thus, when one gets the alert, you can hear it and feel it vibrating... and check the bag to see/feel if the other activates.
      Again, this is a Very Good Idea.

    I have a vpn & reject cookies always however it seems way too much work just to set yourself up for a false sense of security. If people want to track your gps it's fairly easy to do as well as triangulation off your family & associates. (Not only do you need to be off-grid everyone you know needs to be off-grid too. Also how much can you really trust different apps??)

    • @BarrelTitor91
      @BarrelTitor91 Před 10 měsíci

      What security? This video is about privacy not security or anonymity. Turned off GPS in GOS is actually turned off. SIM triangulation is always on with a SIM. You could solve it by not using SIM to your name with SIM hotspot with imei and number changer then you could connect with family members through encrypted communication apps. Turn off the hotspot when you're going home and use wifi at home with on router VPN. You should do this if you're running from FBI or having paranoid schizophrenia. Another alternative is faraday sleeve, must have for burner phones.

      @PeterKnagge Před 10 měsíci

    • @TheUrbanPrepper
      @TheUrbanPrepper  Před 11 měsíci +2

      Most things you do online don't require a physical ID card. Bad guys can do a lot with your private information. I think a lot of people use their phones on public WiFi (e.g., schools, hospitals, churches, airports, etc), especially for large file transfers. Thanks for watching and commenting!

      @@Erica-cf1xb maybe in America. Here in the us my father just got his wallet with all his I'd and driver's licence and cards stolen, he just canceled the carda from the bank app, went to the national consulate with my mother to declare it was stolen, got a papper that acts as I'd and everything until he makes them new, and then went to the local police too, just to have backup. You literally can't steel anyone's identify here. Max you could steal it's internet account if you go and click and complete idiot phishing forms. But if someone here steals you whole wallet you just declare it stolen and make a new one. And if someone manages in a few hours to do get your money from the bank, the police statement will redo the transactions and you get the money back into your account. Everything is really safe. also here any transaction above 20euro, or how much you set it, needs either an approval from the phone app or if it's phisical the card pin. So if you steal a wallet good luck actually using it. Apart from cash everything else is disposable. and the same is true on the internet. USA must have really shitty security for you to need to make so many preps. Here you can't get rid of them because the banks wanna be sure it's you. and I'd theft is non existent.
