This trailer is the most honest I have ever seen. Not only being straight forward, but actually having what is described as what is in the game. The game is extremely challenging and unpredictable with world encounters, fight only 5 or have a small platoon gunning for you, next best thing to fighting terminators

I'm not mad. After experiencing all the mechanics in theHunter I wanted to see a more action orientated game built on it. Glad it's not staying a fantasy. And great direction too. 80's+Turbobricks, (I mean Volvo's)+Robots+CO-OP=Win

I've got well over a thousand single-player hours in the game and it's still my go-to for fun stress relief. I was 19 in 1989, so the atmosphere feels like going home again. The boomboxes play much better music than most of what we had back then lol.
4 years later, this game is still equally as fun and visually stunning!

Concept is nice, gorgeous to look at, but I will say I am still waiting for a true “Red Dawn” type game where you wage guerrilla warfare on human enemies. No, don’t say homefront the revolution, we don’t talk about that game.
Allaboutmusic I was just thinking about that movie; I’m curious as to why they set the game in such a similar country/suburban setting rather than in a claustrophobic urban area, which I feel would lend itself to the “robot invasion” concept better. The way the game looks right now makes it feel as if the devs just dropped a bunch of basic robot NPCs into a completely unrelated sandbox world, rather than an environment that compliments the enemies (like Left 4Dead for example). Maybe I’m wrong and that tone is what they’re going for, but it seems to me like that inconsistency takes away from the game’s tension and immersion. Additionally (it might be a bit early to complain about this), the robot design seems pretty generic and boring to me. You’ve got hovering drone bois, walking drone bois, and big boss drone bois without much else going on. It seems like the only thing that will keep people invested is the mystery, rather than the gameplay or tone.
Shazboy I agree, a city like setting would work much better. The game looks good, and gameplay wise seems good to, but the tone is a mixed bag.

Wow, you guys have really managed to capture the look of the environment in Sweden! The buildings, surrounding nature and ambience felt spot on, from what I saw. You definitely got my attention :)

OMG this is going to be sweet. I grew up in the Eighties and seeing this gameplay got me some feels lol. The world looks beautiful as well. This is going to be so awesome to play and i can not wait =)

Tony Nguyen Yeah! Every time I see a digitally created art piece on a electronic powered LED/plasma-panel I wonder why people call it a painting. They didn't use paint. They use a electronic pen and tablet which simulates brushes, paints and other tools on a Personal Computer to make it look "real". Weird...
I can’t describe how excited i am for this game, cinematically it looks amazing and the gameplay looks so advanced and immersive! I hope it is as good as it looks to be
This game doesn't give you typical bull shit. It's the real deal. You jump in, and figure out how to survive without boring BS context. The context happens as you play. Even at that , if you don't care about the story then go nuts. It's realistic scary yet the only game that makes me FEEL like a real badass hunter. Best awesome looking machines ever in a game. I want more games like this. 8

First? Love it. It got this 80s movies-Stranger Things-Feeling to it and combines it with intense first person action. I just cant wait anymore. And remember guys, this is a game by Avalanche Studios, meaning that the final game will look just as awesome as shown in this very first trailer...or even better.
Germano111 hate to be that guy but the only two movies I can recall that featured kids going up against superior odds to save their town were the classic anti communist movie red dawn and the goonies about children who face constant danger in order to find treasure and save their family

If only movies would stop rebooting (and destroying) grounded franchises and be as original as Generation Zero.
I love this game. It's one of those few games where it feels good to play, but very ominous. It makes me feel like I'm really there and just observing the behavior of the machines can grab your attention. It's fun and super interesting. They could make a sequel without updating anything but the machines and the location and I'd preorder it today. I love this stuff.

I've been looking for a new tactical co-op game. Hopefully this one delivers. Looks like a great concept.
In my mind this game is my only favorite game, and I want to be able to play it for the rest of my life. I never get tired of it. They did online with 100% perfection. These devs are elite, this game is elite. If this game ever shuts down I'll have to be forced to put gaming down for good. I'd love to see more games of this type, same Era, same combat, same pace.

believe me , avoid this crap as far as possible if you want to play single player. the AI is absolutely crap and the game was still full of bugs, and it affect combat. if you want to kill a machine that takes thousands of bullet, this is for you.

Looks like I've found my game for 2019 can't wait to see it go live.
The way of how this game works really enlightens me, being able to choose to solve this mystery by yourself, or to do it with friends. Using many tactics or charging in with brute force. The game will be a time lasting mystery/post-apocalyptic genre.
The co-op is amazing, bunkers, and so on. Giving us the ability to discover many pieces of puzzle to solve. (I hope there are many endings, and not just one solid ending).
I also noticed there are only guns, or weaponry. Would it be cool if it has added armor as well? I know it is the in the 80-90s, but some “Secret” armory rooms which contains “Legendary” armor, would be quite cool. Although, it would be better if it is spawned randomly around the map, so that “CZcamsrs’” wont be able to “Share” an exact location of where they spawn. (Maybe on a boss/mob, or inside a car that requires a key code from a room that also requires a key from a certain mob that is randomly spawned on.) I don’t know, but it is just my thought.
Any way to get into a beta? Would love to test this one out! Looks good!

I've just started playing this game and it's pretty good overall, maybe a few tweaks here and there such as, jumping over fences or climbing walls, reloading while running, and more things to interact with other then robots

Can you build a Camp or Base? I mean for making food or ammo or something else.
You dont have to eat and you cant build. You just need to find "safehouses" you can respawn in safehouses and fast travel (teleport)
And you just need to find ammo from robots,ammo boxes
U can build in the update on pc and i think xbox and ps4 will get it end of july
