@@macro3751 criminal who’s usually seen as mainly a high level thief versus psychopathic murder. The two have some pretty substantial differences. Although there was a time when it was referenced catwoman killed like 200 people, but I think that was an outlier in terms of her usual portrayal. Harley is has portrayed as a murderer for quite awhile.

To be fair, she is a therapist. Often she tells Batman to his face how he is crazy and having too much of an emo trip. I always said if it’s anyone who is best for Bruce it’s Harley.

I never used to think of it like this until I saw that Harley Quinn episode. I agree, they could really help each other out. Bruce could potentially retire and be happy, but even if he didn't retire as Batman Harley is probably the only woman that could handle that.

Joker being in Bruce's mind instantly reminded me of Batman: Arkham Knight. Id really like to see Sean's universe be animated because it's incredibly good.

Weirdly enough, I'm not against Bruce and Harley being a couple. Honestly, I've seen so much back and forth with Selena that I'm pretty sick of the idea of Batman with Catwoman now. Its a boring eternal "Will-They/Won't-They" story that has gotten so old its great-grandkids have retired and settled down.

If I'm being honest I really think Catwoman has the most chemistry with Batman than any other love interest. Harley and Bruce as a couple could be cute, but other than that the romance itself really doesn't make any sense in retrospect when you look at their characters and interactions, so I feel that they honestly shouldn't be in a relationship
@@blossomingflower2150 I offer a different argument. it's true that Selena and Bruce have some connections but clearly it's not strong enough for them to have a lifelong connection. the idea of Harley and Bruce getting a relationship implies the idea of making new beginnings and moving on from a very clearly unstable relationship (Selena and Bruce) as they are not able to maintain it for very long ever

When Harley was there for Batman when he was injured in Joker War, sat beside him for days, didn't take off his mask. Then she made him choose Harley or the Joker and choose Harley and then he sat beside her bed for days. That was the best.

I've always kinda wanted this to happen but I was hoping it would be with Harley comforting Bats after Selina dies or something (she was a therapist after all and her and Selina aren't necessarily on bad terms) Bruce has always cared for Harley and usually blamed the Joker for any wrong she did.

I feel like it could happen after Joker abused her one to many times and Batman would be like “yo you need to leave him he’s trash” and Harley would be like “Man you’re right he just tried to kill me for like the tenth time” and then Batman would help rehabilitate her. Batman always pitied the relationship between them and urged Harley to leave Joker several times and I think he knows she’s not necessarily a bad person, just fell in love with the wrong person

Is it weird that I actually could see Bruce and Harley being together? Harley knows what it’s like to be obsessed with something, or in her case someone and is able to understand Bruce better than anyone else. And we all know that with Bruces nighttime activities no one else would be willing to stay with him knowing that there would be a possibility that he’d go out one night and never return. So the idea of Bruce and Harley becoming husband and wife makes sense to me.
In all honesty, while yeah Catwoman might be a perfect match for Bruce in some cases. I genuinely feel that Harley and Bruce being together works a lot better. Many others said it in the comments already, but the two balance each other out in more ways than one.
In absolutely no case is catwoman a pertfect match for batman.
I love that Batman always has a thing for the criminals. Catwoman, Harley, Ras’s daughter Natalia.
Though criminals they may be, I think without saying it with every relationship Batman believes that each and every one is undoubtably good and they just need the right person to help them get back on track.

It's officially how he sees himself. One Batman Beyond episode had a villain trying to convince Bruce he was losing his sanity via a hidden speaker constantly talking to him. When Terry asks why he didn't break, he simply said, "The voice always called me 'Bruce.' That's not who I refer to myself as."

I can't believe Sean Murphy actually went and made them get together. I know their relationship was teased throughout the series but now it's actually real and they're married (granted it was for another reason too but still). I low-key shipped them since BTAS and now there's gonna be more moments with them and I'm here for it
On one hand I personally don’t like Batman and Harley Quinn as a couple for several reasons, however as this is an alternate take on the Batman mythos and Harley Quinn is a very different character in this continuity, I think it’s perfectly fine. Plus let’s be honest this isn’t the worst Batman pairing ever (I’m looking at you, Barbara.)

@@ghostprince4284 because alot of the incarnations of Barbara is generally made clear that she is a lot younger than Bruce, and given that Bruce has a very close and near equal relation with her father,, adding that to the a lot of the other takes having Bruce being somewhat of a surrogate father/uncle role to most of his protege just makes this pairing even more uncomfortable

Love the art thought it's like a merge between Batman beyond and the Batman the animated series together.
I used to not be able to stand Harley, especially I'm her relationship with the Joker. But in the last decade or so they have put her through some amazing character development to the point that I honestly think she might be one of the most interesting and compelling characters in all of mainstream comics. At this point she's not even an anti-hero, she's gone through a complete redemption arc and is a full on hero.
For me it is the opposite, she became more of a Deadpool clone almost.
@@Awesomeisme7000 There definitely was a point where that was the case, and I couldn't stand that, but I think that that time has come and gone. She's become a much more serious character recently, largely moving on from her personal traumas and using her training to help others with theirs as well.

This one actually doesn't surprise me without any shenanigans. Harley plays ball with the biggest of the heroes, and she's wicked smart. Before the Joker broke her, she was probably the biggest catch in Gotham. We've been shown multiple times throughout many series that once the Joker is out of her life and she receives some TLC, she goes back to what she was before becoming a villain
Well to be fair, Harley did have qualifications as psychologist or w/e. So she definitely has the capacity to pull of some very smart stuff. Couple that with her insanity and you got someone who has the potential to tango with the big leagues
I always wanted Harley to hook up with Batman after the events of The Killing Joke. I wanted her to flee Joker after he attempts to kill her and the entire Bat family. She’ll turn from her evil ways to use her P.H.D. to solve crimes and try to restore criminals’ sanity. She’ll become the White Bat and fall in love with Bruce Wayne.

Y'know back when he was written as an actual CHARACTER and not just a one-dimensional Bad Guy, the Joker had once been pacified by Arkham and Harley pretending to fall for Batman was the only thing that was able to snap him out of it

I am so glad. I really loved this universe. Harley and Bruce pairing have been a favorite of mine and seeing them in the White Knight universe was great. I hoping they would explore more with their relationship. And I'm glad they did.

I remember that in the animated series, one of the special things what make batman was his desire to rehabilitate his villains, because some were genuinely broken; Among them we included Harley ...

I guess harley took afection for batman cus DC has no problem showing that his relationship goes a little beyond of enemy and hero, in many comics we see this. Is really nice and tender.

Sean Murphy's White Knight series is some of the best comic content.
I saw the title and I was just like, huh? But having watched the video, it makes sense I guess. I kinda do like the idea of Batman and Harley being together, not gonna lie. Even if it is an alternate take on the character, I do like the idea. Besides, Batman and Harley together is hardly the weirdest relationship between Batman and another character (looking at you Batgirl, looking at you). I kinda wanna get this series.

Harley Quinn is good for Batman. She's incredibly loyal and not prone to running from trouble. She's a really open and honest person, and she's a therapist.
Feel like they would be great for each other. I feel like Harley would actually be a better partner than Thalia or Selina, which when I think about it, is not really that hard to top since they are both pretty shit. Yeah, I get it Harley is batshit insane too, but I feel like Batman would be her chain to stop her from crossing the line while Harley becomes the light that bring cheerfulness into his dark gloomy household. She'll definitely get along better with the Robin's because of her cheerfulness than the other two candidates who are just full of themselves

Honestly, this would be a decent way for Batman to get back at Joker. Joker is always talking about how it takes one bad day to turn people into him, and how his chaos always wins, etc. But Batman taking Joker's little personal project and making her good, saving her, restoring her? Joker managed to get Harley to fall, well, madly in love with him, but for Batman to break that?
That's a kick in the nuts to Joker.

Y’know I felt a Batman/Harley romance was set up all the way back in _Harley’s Holiday_ but nothing came of it. Instead Bruce Timm decided to sail forward with many other unconventional ships.
Literally a mix of arkham knight and tales of the borderlands with joker being an ai instead of an hallucination.

I… kinda love it. That kind of love that develops over time. Kind of like arranged marriages that blossom into a pure love. That “learn to love” kind of thing. You learn everything about them and you start to get feelings because you know them inside and out. Bruce took care of her and her kids, protected them, became her closest friend, it’d be hard to not fall for him.

@11:38 I LOVE Harley's Batman themed suit (grey one next to her more traditional outfit). Never read this comic so I am seeing this for the first time- VERY COOL. Since the DCAU I have 'shipped' Batman and Wonder-Woman...seeing that suit puts in mind what Wonder-Woman's suit would have looked like with a Batman theme added. So cool.
We all know harley and Bruce will make up by the end. But I'm also curious as to how powers will become blight in this version of the story

That's because this is Jack, the Joker after being forcibly given a drug by Batman which made him sane. It's explained that Jack uploaded his mind into some microchip (or something) which he put in Bruce's head while he was unconscious.

I actually think they would be a good match, Bats is crazy enough to keep her attention but would treat her like a human being.
So the Joker implanted an A.I into Batman's head and only he can see the A.I and this A.I prefers to be called Jack. I am pretty sure this is supposed to be a reference to Handsome Jack.

This is a really cool different spin. I like having the older characters still in action with Terry in the mix. I'm gonna have to buy my first comic in years
